Los Linderos Tequila is another good brand coming out of the Vivanco Distillery! NOM 1414 - Master Distiller Sergio Cruz Pretty Bottles with good juice! Repo 40 ABV Agaves: 8 y.o. from Los Altos Cooking: stone/brick ovens Crushing: roller mill Fermentation: open-air, stainless steel tanks, champagne yeast with the Mozart method Distillation: 2x in copper pots Water Source: deep well Additive-free Aged 9 months in used American oak barrels and finished in French oak. Additive-free $65  700 ml Vanilla, caramel, brown sugar, barrel spices. On the nose, I didn't get much oak or whiskey. I got a little on the palate with a slight dryness that faded off quickly. the longer it opened, the dryness subsided https://shop.loslinderostequila.com/ Bottles purchased at @thecellarmx - san jose del cabo, Mexico

Vessel: Glencairn Nose: Carmel, Almond, Honey, Oak, Champagne Yeast Mouthfeel: Medium-Bodied Palate: Carmel (slightly muted) Honey (slightly muted, Oak/Barrell notes, Walnut Finish: Honey, Oak, Walnut, Vanilla, Coffee ( about a minute after the sip) This one has something about it that is kind of off, I can't quite out my finger on it but I will say that there are some notes that taste a bit muted for some reason.

Interesting. First time trying this brand. The nose is nice. The palate has some strange flavors. There are nice flavors of agave but there is a secondary flavor that I can’t place I would not go as far as saying it taste bad but it is unusual. The finish is nice and mouthfeel is nice.

A lot going on here. Nose has lots of petrichor, minerals, agave, wet wood, cloves. Palate has agave, butter, pepper, barrel spice, and some oak. Pepper and vanilla finish. Really nice repo!

Sampled at Kenny 18 Bottle Shop in Atlanta. It’s another quality offering from 1414. Nose - Earth and oak with faint caramel . Agave isn’t immediately apparent but it develops after a few minutes. Some spices. Palate - More oak and some nuttiness. Slightly sweet caramel. Again the agave isn’t immediately there. It finishes a bit dry with a coffee bitterness at the very end.

Always weary of “pretty bottles” but I’m impressed with the Tequila inside. Nose: oak, earth, agave, fruits, toffee Taste: agave gets a little lost with the barrel notes, but pick up oak, butterscotch, baking spices, toffee
