Just a sample so maybe I need to sit down with it but not the profile for me. Interesting nose and palate with a tad bitter finish.
Blind TMM tasting. Nice sweet agave with a touch of green on the nose. Some agave and white pepper flavor. A bit thin on the finish. Light and easy classic blanco. Extra points for value.
I get a prevalent, pleasant olive/briny aroma, in addition to cooked agave and pepper. The flavor and finish were not complex and both left me wanting more.
Nose - olive, brine, citrus, pepper, agave (great nose). Flavor - agave, pepper, olive (light) very light finish in comparison to the aroma.
Neutral aroma with a trace of ethanol and zero agave. A bit viscous on entry, this has some bitterness in the mouth and gave me a tongue spike for the finish. Tasted blind in the 10 Blancos Blind. 2nd from the bottom for me of the 10 presented.
Nose: Cooked Agave, Honey, Fruit, Anise Mint, Cinnamon, vegetal Palate: Minerality, Citrus (rind), limestone, pepper Finish: Mango/ Stone Fruit, Herbs, Minerality, Pepper For the price, this one is spectacular. I got a lot of fruit, vegetal, and cooked agave along with some herbal and fruity notes. This is incredibly (maybe suspiciously) sweet but also full of flavor. I'd like to read up a little but more on production notes.
This one’s hard to beat considering the price tag on it! WOW
Nose: Fresh cooked agave leads the way, accented by a touch of black pepper and a subtle grassy note. It’s bright, clean, and inviting. Palate & Mouthfeel: While the mouthfeel is on the thinner side, it still coats the palate nicely. Sweet agave is front and center, complemented by hits of black pepper, anise, and a refreshing touch of peppermint. It’s a simple profile, but the agave truly shines. Finish: The finish is smooth and easy, with no harsh alcohol burn. A subtle tingle stays on the tongue, carrying a refreshing trace of pep Overall: What a spectacular value Blanco! It’s not overly complex, but sometimes simplicity and quality are exactly what you need.
I had this, several times, at a tasting. The aroma and flavor left a strong impression, with cooked agave taking the lead in both presence and intensity—it truly stood out as the quintessential defining characteristic from start to finish. While other notes made themselves known, they succumb to the cooked agave’s rich and gourmand profile. I found this Blanco to be incredibly palate worthy and look forward to having a full bottle to revisit.
I think most of us can appreciate a good value tequila. I have a couple, Suerte and Puro Potro. These are tequilas that punch above their weight class. Zumbador fits that bill too Nice nose of agave and floral. Minty. On the palate it is also a sweet agave bomb with a bit of black pepper. Finishes off nicely. Makes a good mixer or a sipper. I’d put this third in my budget class
Increased my rating after purchasing a bottle to enjoy. Fantastic blanco that’s hard to beat at this price. Packed with cooked agave sweetness, a touch of cinnamon, and a little anise. I would love a Zumbador high proof.
Zumbador Blanco sample from Bill Durnbaugh Adjusting up for value $25 at OTT Nose: at first i got vegetal citrus pepper. Then the agave and fruit came out. It kept evolving! Anise and mint came forward. It gets more complex as it opens. Palate: agave pepper minerality and anise Finish: peppery that comes back around to sweet agave and more pepper. I'm impressed! need to get a few bottles of this. Not rated for value because I don't know price. Will adjust if need be when I know cost
On the nose I get a very traditional cooked agave that’s buttery and has some nice minerality white pepper and brine. There’s hints of alcohol and a faint peppery vegetal note. There’s a classic quality to it. I’m tasting several notes at once. It’s buttery cooked agave, peppers, earthy minerals and a touch of natural agave sweetness. That sweetness carries into a slightly pepper finish that pleasantly lingers. There’s some nice alcohol tingle on the palate. Overall this is a very tasty tequila and it’s coming in at a great price around 25
Best ~$25 Tequila I’ve had. Has some cooked agave, black pepper, minerality, slight citrus. Not a huge amount of depth or complexity and finishes quick, but on par with the price point. I think it’s exceptional value.
Decent Blanco for cocktails! Not much complexity at all but lots of agave! A tad zesty! Great value Tequila for sure!
Florals, acetone, nuts, pollen, herbs, grass. Fair amount of complexity. Very good for the price - one of the best. Not my top profile in a blanco but it gets better with time making me like it more.
nice tears drop legs. Aroma of agave and grass. taste more agave, earth and fennel. Finish has a little heat, then sweetness from the cooked agave. great value and liter size bottle.
Not very complex, but perfectly ok, especially for its price point. A: Loads of agave with a little pepper and wet earth T: Huge agave with a little pepper and baking spice. Would make a good mixer but is ok as an affordable sipper
Strong Agave forward , subtle peppery finish (not over powering) I really like the balance between the initial flavors and its finish.
Agave bomb!! Aroma of cooked agave, on first sip my palate tastes sweet cooked agave, a little vegetal with a peppery late finish.
It’s bright and layers to say the least. Bright cirtus melon lime with green peppers yet earthy sweet cooked agave and anise. The finish evolves to more agave raw earthy and pepper. Price kicks up its overall score and that’s okay!
My god!!! This is a gem of a find. Nose: at first i got vegetal citrus pepper. Then the agave and fruit came out. It kept evolving! Anise and mint came forward. It gets more complex as it opens. Palate: agave pepper minerality and anise Finish: sweet agave and pepper that finishes smooth and easy. I'm impressed!!!
This Blanco reminds me of so many great Highland Agave tequilas. Great cooked Agave mineral reality limestone cinnamon vegetable. It really has it all. Great finish hard to be at this price point!
Picked this one up through a great sample swap in the Agave Swappers Facebook group. Zúmador Blanco is clean and crisp with a strong agave presence. On the nose, it’s fresh with hints of citrus and pepper. The flavor follows with cooked agave, light minerality, and a touch of herbal spice. Smooth finish with a nice little kick at the end.

Aroma/Taste: The nose reveals an intriguing mix of mushroom, sweet cooked agave, cola, a slight cheesy funk, and petrichor. On the palate, it introduces mint, green pepper, black pepper, and a hint of anise, creating a well-balanced and memorable flavor. Finish: The finish is medium in length, with a mint flavor that lingers, which I really enjoy. There's also a warm and sweet aftertaste that stays with you, making the experience even more pleasant. Overall: Tasted blind, this tequila has a soft mouthfeel. It's really well balanced between sweet and spicy flavors. I found it very enjoyable and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a good tequila.
