Nice Reposado, light cooked agave and light barrel notes. Balanced, nothing jumps out one way or the other.

Maestra Tequilera Iliana Partida is both Distiller and Co-Owner. She has partnered with Todd Hummel. Todd founded Elevacíon Spirits Corp. He is also the CEO and based out of Ontario, Canada. Agaves are harvested at peak ripeness before being cooked in a High Pressure Autoclave. Agaves are then pressed with a Roller Mill with Deep Well Water. It's then fermented is Stainless Steel Tanks before being distilled twice and resting in American White Oak Barrels for 4 months. Aroma: Pleasant Cooked Agave mixing with Light Oak and Citrus(Orange). A little Earthiness that let's you know it's from the Valley. Vanilla and Caramel that incorporates Cinnamon/Black Pepper and some Barrel Spices is present. A nice Tropical Fruit Note is noticeable along with a little Herbalness. Taste: Cooked Agave with a little Earthiness is accompanied by the Vanilla and Oak. Spicy Cinnamon and Black Pepper continue mixing with the Barrel Spices to bring a nice tongue burn. The Herbalness mixes with the Tropical Fruit to balance these strong flavors. Finish: The Cooked Agave takes a nice medium long journey with the Vanilla and Spicy Cinnamon/Black Pepper to finish this off . TMM--84

40% abv., no lot codes anywhere, it has a natural straw woven band circling the bottle above the label, acquired recently, tasted on 8-29-24. Color: yellow. Aroma: hint of cooked agave, light vanilla, hint of chili spiciness, light acidity, hint of citrus. Light wood note and barrel spices. Palate: confirms aromas perceived, hint of fruitiness, good sweet sour and citrus balance. I feel the wood note and barrel spice causes the mouthfeel to be thick, but might also mute other aromas. Finish is medium to medium long, hint of cooked agave with light fruitiness with light citrus notes persist.

Warm baking spice and vanilla on the nose. Oak and baking spice on the palate with bright citrus and a hint of smoke. Short, sharp finish.
