Nose: pear / agave sweet// vanilla & caramel/ banana/ lime/ spearmint/ jasmine/ nutmeg/ hint of maple Taste: agave sweet/ pepper / vanilla/ oak / pear&pineapple / maple / almond / molasses /hazelnut/ cream soda . earth / Finish: brisk clean cool sweet water texture at first followed by a bittersweet creaminess and vanilla & mint / the bitter remains in a way that brings balance and harmony to the delicious sweet and fruitiness and pepper tastes. This Reposado has so many instruments playing together but the sweetness adds a rich melody that is easily recognizable and adds complexity to cross over the middle palate’s bittersweet ending. This expression is easy on the palate and wallet.
Aroma/Taste - I wonder if a scotch or sherry barrel was part of the aging process. There's a delightful blend of cinnamon, clove, raisin, and cherry dancing on the palate. And let's not forget that initial kick of hot black pepper—definitely wakes up the taste buds! Finish – The finish is spicy and lingers for quite some time. It reminds me of the red, cinnamon candies that my grandmother offered in a candy dish on the coffee table. Overall – This reposado doesn't hold back—it's big and bold, bursting with intense flavors. I can imagine sipping it outdoors by a crackling fire. While it may not be my top tequila pick, it certainly offers a unique and memorable experience.
Crisp, clean, agave forward Citrus, vanilla This would be a crowd favorite. Can make cocktails, sip, smell, whatever you please. Beginner and experienced tequila drinkers would love this tequila
Nose- very light and clean Taste- This has a ton of cooked agave upfront that flows into a slight oak bitterness, butter, licorice and little vanilla Mouthfeel- thin and watery
Muted nose, soft palate and odd finish. Was not a fan of this one. Tasted with AF 2024 Blind Repo. Revisited with a bottle: Light barrel on nose but unique, citrus, maybe cherry? Palate is easy going with slight pepper finish. It’s an easy non complex sipper but I like it. Upping by a few points.
This was part of the 2024 TMM 10 Reposado blind. Nose - Agave, lime, mint, floral, fresh green pepper, honey Taste - Agave, dark fruits, butter, lime, oak, honey, pear, pepper Medium mouth feel nice finish Light golden color Tasting 2 Nose - Agave, Lime, dark fruits, fresh green pepper, honey, pepper, floral Taste - Agave, lime, oak, honey, minerals, pear, pepper, butter, mild vegetal Tasting 3 Nose - Agave, Lime, dark fruits, Fruit, fresh green pepper, honey, pepper, floral Taste - Agave, lime, oak, honey, minerals, pear, pepper, butter, mild vegetal Medium mouth feel nice finish Light golden color
Rated blind: Light vanilla but muted nose. Some vanilla on the flavor too. Creamy. Easy drinker but fairly one dimensional.
Blind
Overall - "Wow!" Leaves you wanting more. Aroma - complex/sophisticated w/ touch of cherry plus apples too. Flavor - full wood/oak & gorgeous sweetness. Finish - appropriate w/ oak + slight fruit characteristics remaining . . . if anything, just perhaps a bit too delicate.
Pale hay in color. N- very light nose and yet complex. Agave, Elmer's glue (?!), faint flowers, apple T- light on the palate as well. Caramelized agave, honey, mango, black pepper, herbs, raisen MF- full bodied F- long and surprisingly spicy

NOM 1414
Agave and oak predominant, agave, oak and caramel on palate
The Oak stands out in the aroma & flavor. This came at the high recommendation of a friend, didn’t quite live up to the hype. The finish is alright but for the price point Tres Agave Repo seems like better quality drink at a lower/similar price point.
NOM 1414 claims additive free on the bottle but I'm not sure I believe it, starts off nice butterscotch and cigar not harsh at all but the finish is rubbing alcohol and leaves soo much to be desired! For the price point, there are better tequilas (locally, it's roughly $50 for me). If you're feeling adventurous, it's worth a try, but it probably won't become a staple in your collection.
Nom 1424 (from what I was told) This smell like licorice and it definitely has artificial crap in it. Not good
Not sure if I got a different NOM than everyone else but this tastes like 80% terrible tequila and 20% vanilla extract.
One of my fav Repos!
Nose: oak, agave, cherry, banana bread, light barrel notes, vanilla, honey Palate: Instant cherry, bananas or banana bread, oak, vanilla, honey, chocolates. Finish: great repo, almost no burn, goes down super smooth (dangerously) new nom is 100xs better then old nom. Def a great sipper to keep on my shelf.
Very smooth oak character with a vanilla tone, very smooth finish
A light yellow (straw) color, Siempre reposado’s aromas are light initially and, at first, were a bit hard to discern clearly, but opened up after the tequila rested in the glass and also on subsequent pours after the bottle had been opened, even just a day later. Its aromas include mellow fruity (hints of cherry & raisin, maybe pear, perhaps some light/understated citrusy notes), floral, vanilla, barrel & oak influence including vanilla and light whiskey, and sweet baking spices/cinnamon/nutmeg and cooked agave aromas. These aromas are also on the palate, which is defined by lovely fruity notes, cinnamon/sweet baking spices, and honey sweetness. This sweetness is balanced and not particularly peppery or sharp, though there is a nice warming effect as you swallow the tequila. Siempre reposado has a creamy mouthfeel for a bit mid-sip, though not as full as other reposados. There is a medium-ish (not long) finish. The tequila leaves beautiful tears and pearls on the glass. It is affordably priced and of good quality/value. Strongly recommended.
Wow- this is a very nice tequila with some uniqueness that I can’t describe- it’s good. Aroma is wet agave, barrel spice with fruit and hints of smooth whisky. Palate is agave, earthy oakiness and barrel notes that finishes very nicely. It has a lot of complexity that I know will provide more notes the longer it is open.
Very smooth finish.
Aroma gives off vanilla, oak, cherry, and vanilla. I get a sprinkle of cinnamon, cooked agave, and black pepper on the end. As far as the palate and finish go, Cherry Vanilla, Cinnamon, and oak remain dominant with some other more subtle notes going on as well. Raisin? Plum? regardless of what remains dominant here, it's clear that these flavors remain very harmonious with each other. Such a solid Reposado that falls in line with other great reposados from 1414. This one may just be closer to the front of that line!
While aficionados tend to prefer blanco tequilas, and imbibers of dark spirits usually gravitate towards añejos, the reposado category is often overlooked.

Anyone who knows me knows that I love 1414 and Sergio Cruz’s masterpieces. I find them extremely good for the price. This one for me is another good one from the Mozart of tequila. The nose is sweet agave, a touch of oak, vanilla and cinnamon. I am also getting a touch of black cherry. Taste is sweet agave and oak. I get an earthiness and vanilla. This one is a great value with a nice mouthfeel. I think I still like Alma del Jaguar repo better but I can easily recommend this one.
