Nose: Aromas begin a bit muted and muddled. Lightly spiced, slightly floral, vanilla? With a little time, more robust notes of lemon lime and minerals appear. Hints of peach and melon. Flavor: The aroma was passable, with promise. But this flavor profile does not suit my tastes. Bitter pepper bite without nuance. Oily sweet. Leaves an aftertaste and odd mouth feel. Not a sipper for me. Perhaps a good mixer.

Lot: LT101723, tasted on 6-5-24. Aromas: starts off quite briny but once it opens up more aromas emerge, but a light briny sensation is always present. Light cooked agave, light acidity, hint of citrus, after 20 minutes in the glass an agave fiber aroma emerges. Palate: confirms aromas perceived, slightly salty on the palate, sweet & salty agave fibers. Just a tad of chemical aroma through my retronasal. Finish is medium to medium long, hint of cooked agave, light briny sensation with light agave fibers and a light sweetness that doesn’t feel totally natural persists. Ends a tad bitter.
