N- AGAVE, PEPPER, ARTICHOKE, HERBS, ACIDIC FUNK, LIME T- CARAMELIZED AGAVE, PINEAPPLE SWEETNESS, JALAPENO, MINT, A TOUCH OF ALCOHOL, CINNAMON, BUTTER MF- THICC F- SWEET, SOUR, SPICY
Nose: agave sweet / earth / pepper /apple / citrus / alcohol Taste: agave / pepper/ cinnamon/ banana/ citrus/ alcohol Finish: low viscosity/ clean and bright finish/ alcohol This is a good mixer still strength. As a sipper it’s a bit harsh because of the high abv. High abv is one of my loves, but some brands get it right and you get max flavor and low alcohol burn…there’s good flavor, but the alcohol is a bit too high to enjoy as a sipper.
Suerte Still Strength Blanco This treat comes in at 104 proof / 52 ABV. Suerte is produced at NOM1530 and they are one of the few single-brand distilleries. The stone oven and tahona crushing combo always gets me excited. The buttery-cooked agave jumps out of the glass and hits your nasal passages first. The nose is clean and free of defects. There’s a nice minerality that’s mixed with some fresh celery and a light vegetal note. A tad of sweetness is present from the cooked agave and it has a light honeysuckle scent. I barely detect any alcohol vapors but if you try hard enough you can find some. I keep going back and nosing this sample and I started to get just a hint of green apple. It’s a nice clean nose of agave. Let’s dig in! The agave is even more present on the palate than on the nose. It’s buttery and dense. The minerality blends in nicely with the vegetal quality. The white pepper comes in later but it isn’t overwhelming like it is in some still strengh tequilas. There’s a pleasant viscosity that allows the flavors to linger. The sweetness from the agave kicks in mid-palate and flows into the finish. This is an easy-drinking 104-proof Blanco! Be careful! Good job Suerte Tequila! Keep it coming!
Batch No. B600723 Bottle No. 1287/1530 52% ABV Initial nasal impact is warming but not strong for a 104 proof. Aroma of cooked agave, honeysuckle, grass, mineral, white pepper. Buttery mouthfeel with generous heat. Lots of cooked agave and honey up front on the flavor. Lime citrus, black pepper, brine, jalapeno, mineral, grass and some dried pineapple. Mint comes in to play on here as well. Beautiful long finish with the black pepper, honey, brine, lime and dried pineapple holding on strong.
Fairly easy to do for such a high proof. Lots of earthy tons with mint and anise. Pick up if you are a fan of high proofs.
Nose of agave and earth. I can smell mint and brine. A bit of alcohol on the nose A nice sweet taste on the tongue with agave, pepper and mint. The high ABV works well with this tequila but is a touch forward. The finish is long and the mouthfeel is balanced. Overall the nose doesn’t match the taste. This is a very good value for a high proof and woman an excellent mixer for cocktails.
Nice cooked agave, grassy, mint, and pepper. I let it open up and it has a nice mouth feel.
Read some of the rating here that recommended I let it breath for a little while before sipping. Nose: grass, butter, funk, raw agave, minerality, a bit of ethanol, brine Palate: black pepper, some spiciness, agave, lemon zest, cheesy Finish: pleasant with long finish and some nice heat on the tongue.
Spicy, but tasty, nice agave, grassy, floral, as many have recommended - let it sit/open up! It needs to breath as the taste improves quite a bit after 15-20 mins. All in all solid HP for under $70
I let this rest for about 15 minutes before taking my first couple sips, but I was still a bit overwhelmed with the alcohol and heat. After letting it sit another 15 minutes, I was pleased with the improvement. It has a very pleasant aroma of agave and grasses. On the tongue, I tasted agave, grasses, cinnamon, pepper and mint. Really lovely!
The nose on this is fucking fantastic!! Herbal, minty, cinnamon, butter, and loads of cooked agave! Nice punch on the front end with that signature white pepper of tequilas, real tequilas from Atotonilco. While not super complex, this tequila is big, bold, beautiful, honest, and true. Crisp and herbaceous on the front with a mid palate of butter and lemon/orange meringue along with a touch of cinnamon-sugar toast. Long, dry, slightly bitter, but with a very earthy finish. Definitely a must have for those who love traditional blancos!!
Very Surprised, loved it. Was definitely herbal. A great budget HP
This is nice. A little hot but not unbearable Mouthfeel nice and viscous Nose- a little matalitic, cooked agave, fresh blade of grass, maraschino, cherry Taste- agave, mint, earthiness, vegetable, pepper
Great value driven still Strength. Herbal, mint, clean high proof blanco. Let it open up
3rd Night: The aroma is of agave, grassiness, earthiness, citrus, and a subtle hint of brine. Although not overtly complex, I love the blunt smell of minerality. When tasting, it runs hotter than I expected. There is quick minute brine entry before hot anise and subtle berry sourness take center stage first. The taste is mixed with earthy undertones, a discernible nuttiness, persistent brine, subtle pepperiness, mint, and yeast. The finish is long with citrus, herbal elements, and grassy notes that refuse to leave. Instead, they gradually fade away, leaving behind faint but lingering trails of fresh agave and minerality, which sticks to the palate.
Very nice high proof! Agave and vegetal notes greet. The big surprise is it doesn’t drink like a 110, less heat and more creaminess than I expected. This one is less grassy and overall better than the regular Blanco. But the aged expressions like the Repo are still the star for me.
Strong agave, alcohol presence, gradually opens up with pepper, and brine. Definitely needs to breathe. Spicy heat on the tongue in a good way with less alcohol while agave, mint, pushing through. Nice long warm finish.
sept 16, 2023 Suerte h.p. Nose: cooked agave, alcohol/heat, pepper, funk (lactic). Let it sit at least 30 mins and it gets better. More agave comes thru and less alcohol on the nose Palate: cooked agave, pepper, cinnamon Finish: warmth and sweet with heat that lingers, which I like. Notes: you really need to let this one open up. huge difference!!!
Initial pour: Grassy and vegetal on the nose still. Palate follows through with traditional notes of the regular Blanco. I’m a sucker for HP but I’ll grab others. This certainly isn’t bad by any means, the grassiness just isn’t my favorite. Edit: this definitely needs time to open. The vegetal tones down on the nose and palate after opening. I do enjoy the pepper and heat on the finish. I also get the creaminess.
This still strength really brings down the grassiness that the original blanco has and replaces it with more agave. There is definitely some heat but it’s not overpowering and easy to sip. As it opens up, a nice creaminess really comes through. Great job Suerte team.
Subtle aroma. Lots of spice and minerals. Finish is very spicy and lingers.
Fresh mint/agave nose. Good spice on the tongue. Solid price point for a SS. Pretty clean. Decent ending bite you look for with a SS. Will certainly buy again.
A good high proof at a fair price point. Agave, fruit, mineral, anise. Makes for a great margarita.
Yummy…warming to the tongue, agave nose, smooth finish slightly peppery….slightly

Aroma is good but a little funky. The taste is amazing! Cinnamon and mint and perfectly sweet agave shine through. Finish is good with lots of good flavors. This is a hit for me!
