Is this Tequila? Tastes like they added vanilla extract and sugar after distillation. Wait? They did?

Rich honey caramel aroma like the normal repo. Light on the tongue with a slight kick on the finish. Not as sweet as the repo, the profile is similr to the blanco
When there is a big price gap between Casamigos Rapisado and 1942 or Clase Azul, Casamigos is your go to. You won’t sacrifice on value and enjoyment and you will be able to afford the next round!
Nose is bubble-gum and cream soda. Mouthfeel is artificially creamy. Flavor is flat, saccharin-like sweet and peppery. This Cristalino Reposado is simply less-complex than their “zero-complexity” Reposado. Not a fan…
No burn, very smooth. Easy to sip. Not a ton of tequila flavor.
Slightly bland, strong alcohol flavor with subtle sweetness.
lil vanilla, light,
I got this on super sale... 39.9 For the price, pretty solid. Still a regular reposado fan.
Over-sweetened Kool Aid or Fun Dip come to mind…grape Jolly Ranchers. Overall, “icky” is the general vibe. I am not an expert by any means about this spirit but even I in my fledgling educational state know that this is *not* how tequila of quality is supposed to taste. I hate wasting money (especially since this brand is so overpriced for what it is…in my defense I bought this bottle before I knew the difference) so I’m using it as a mixer but the fake sweet flavors are still coming through. Oof.
it is a mouth full of butter.
Tastes like water with a kick at the end.
Sweet aroma, vanilla, cotton candy, cooked agave. Sweet flavor, vanilla, black pepper with lasting burn. Bitter aftertaste. Would not recommend.
Cristallino is the most un-authentic thing you can do to agave. Sad to see this trend. Hoping for more jovens.

It doesn’t smell as bad as the regular rep not as sweet. Really strong alcohol finish. Overall very bland. No real presence of agave, depth, just blah.
