Cinnamon, honey, vanilla, agave, some white wine notes. A tasty Reposado, much and more to enjoy here.
Nose: agave / sweetness / flowers /pear / berries / orange blossom Taste: cooked agave / pepper/ oak / earth / vanilla/ pineapple / pear / orange / honey /wood Finish: very clean quick finish / some bitter notes / fruit / floral Just like a Jaguar this expression leaps on you with aromas and tastes that let it taste well above its price point. Good value, yes….but this is more terrific juice coming out of NOM 1414 / Sergio Cruz.
cherry brown sugar and sweet agave on the nose. I get oak almond brown sugar and cinnamon on the finish. Vanilla seems to come through in waves. it's absolutely delightful sweet and rich but has a very light mouthful that I look for in a Repo. This might be one of my favorite repos!
I remember the day I first tasted this repo. I was visiting a liquor store in Texas and the owner asked if I wanted to taste it. Even out of a little plastic cup I knew right away this was one for me. I bought the bottle and here are my findings. The nose is bright and forward with cooked agave, vanilla and caramel. Some fruits were also discernible. On the palate we have a nice sweet presence of agave. Barrel influences bring vanilla and cinnamon and caramel. Other tastes I get are honey and baking spices. A very nice reposado that goes down easy and disappears too quickly.
Sweet but yet balanced cooked agave, light citrus and spice. Very nice finish
Very nice repo. Nose- cooked agave, fruit, cinnamon, oak , minerality Taste- cooked agave, minerality, cinnamon, anise, good, caramel, little vanilla bit of oak. Very nice.
Sept 2, 2023 1 oz sample Nose brown sugar vanilla barrel notes, whisky. I really like the nose a lot! Palate oak but not an oak bomb, some agave barrel spices. I enjoy the palate Finish is short
Really nice reposado. It’s delicious. Packed with cooked agave sweetness, butterscotch, and cinnamon. A little bit one-dimensional, but that dimension is very well-done.
Sweet nose on this one. Nice barrel with some agave. Easy palate and finish on this one. I enjoyed it.

Nose: Beautiful nose! Barrel aroma as strong is an XA. Oak, vanilla, cooked agave, and caramel. Strikes me as a very good balance between the American and French oak barrels. Palate: The palates seems to be heavily dominated by the American barrel. Definitely less of a Reposado influence and more like an Añejo type of expression The flavors that strike the palate are vanilla, pepper and whiskey. Finish: Medium to light viscosity. Quick and uneventful finish, with a very light pinch of heat about 15 seconds after completed.
nose is caramel, vanilla, and agave. taste is agave, caramel, barrel notes vanilla, anise. Finish brings out the barrel notes, pepper, and mild anise. Nicely balanced, no bitter or astringent flavors. oily mouthfeel gives a pleasant experience. finish could be longer, and a bit more agave would be more my taste but overall nice. good sipper for tequila and whiskey drinkers.
Great reposado for a great price. Great taste from start to finish. Aroma is a mix of almond, caramel and vanilla.
Aromas of agave, oak, caramel & slight vanilla. Initial flavors of agave, caramel, cinnamon & honey transitioning to a vegetal and slightly anise medium finish. I get no pepper, alcohol or burn. A quality flavorful reposado.
Subtle initial taste with a hot bite in the middle then finished with a great vanilla/cherry finish on the tounge.
On the Palate I get agave, caramel, pepper, and oak.
Nose is cooked agave, vanilla and caramel. Taste is cooked agave, vanilla, banana and a hint of pepper. This is a decent Reposado from NOM1414. The glass was a Chisholm Standard Proof Jarrito.
Happy to delve into Alma del Jaguar for the first time. Their reposado is a high quality tequila. Nicely balanced between cooked agave and barrel notes. The oak and pepper flavors are predominant in my mouth. On the nose there are very nice hints of vanilla, cinnamon and floral essence. Well done NOM1414 and Sergio.
Has nice bite to it on the first sip. Then it smooth out. Very good
Nose: Agave, caramel, fruit (plum?) Palate: Agave, caramel, oak, pepper
This Reposado has Aromas of agave, pepper, oak, and alcohol. The first sip had a strong bite for me, but smooth afterwards and I like the agave and oak taste with a fruity (cherry?) hint and an oaky pepper finish. I like the simplicity of this Reposado and definitely will add this to my sipping tequilas. I also really like the story behind this and what they do for conservation. Overall, it was a very nice experience.
Nose: cooked agave, banana, caramel pineapple, black pepper Flavor: cooked agave, banana, oak, pepper Finish: medium, black pepper This is a great, and very unique reposado!
Mine had a heavy alcohol forward taste. Overall average flavor. The alcohol overtone ruins it for me. I’m an outlier. Probably an off batch.

Very solid reposado. More wood than I would like in this class but worth trying.
