tried this at lolitas in Boston 2014. we liked it

Aroma of cooked agave, oak and a hint of solvent. Flavor of cooked agave, oak and black pepper. Medium finish.

Rated blind. Lightly aged, has some pepper spice in the flavor and finish. Pleasant.

Purchased it in San Miguel de Allende at La Bodega grocery store on holiday. Very good price $235 pesos. Best ever? Not even close but it was wuite drinkable. Had a bit of a bite at first sip, but flavor and aroma are not bad. I’d buy it again. It’s a good reposado on training wheels for newbies learning not to “shoot” good tequila

perfumado y algo de solvente pero suave y con sabores no muy complejo pero interesante. 170mxn oferta. Bajando calificación después de enterarme qué olor a solvente es presencia de acetaldehido debido a mala destilacion aunque este ya no es tan presente después de unas semanas de abierto.

Muchas notas de agave cocido y barrica de roble, también se aprecian unas notas de pimienta, caramelo y muy tenue una nota de alcohol. Es un buen tequila en mi opinión.

Great for the price. Not a sipper but great for reposado margs and such. you could be doing a lot worse for the price point.

LOTE 8AR149I20. Marbete from 2019. Color: light yellow. Aroma: lightly sweet cooked agave, hint of vanilla, herbaceous, slightly minty, Palate: cooked raw agave, fresh cut grass, lime, vanilla, creamy mouthfeel, black pepper, slightly astringency from ethanol that is balanced at the end. Finish is medium to long, the cooked agave and hint of vanilla persists.

Carmel, lemon, citrus in the nose. Cherry, nutmeg and wood shavings in the mouth. The finish dissipates quickly. Alcohol, vanilla and slight chlorine at the end.

This was a huge step down from the plata.
