Very light nose and palate. Decent palate but doesn’t wow

Beautiful nose of agave and bubble gum. Tropical fruits, vanilla and caramel. The palate is sweet agave, caramel, vanilla, black pepper, earthy, and minerality

Notes on nose of cherry, anise, thyme, oregano, agave, wood notes, super complex, almost hard to distinguish individually but a nice sipper overall

Well balanced agave forward anejo. Very enjoyable sipper. Nose: sweet cooked agave, oak, vanilla, caramel, butterscotch, butter, cinnamon, and citrus. Palate: cooked agave, black pepper, vanilla, oak, caramel, cinnamon, citrus, minerals, and butterscotch. Great viscous mouthfeel with a long finish that lingers in a good way. Such a fantastic anejo.

Nose: cooked agave / black pepper/ cherry / orange peel / lemongrass / lavender / mineral Taste: agave sweet / black pepper/ vanilla / banana / light citrus - lime / nutmeg/ maple Finish: easy clean finish with a slightly viscous mouthfeel/ sweetness lingers in a good way / mostly pepper and sweet smooth finish The typical G4 peppery notes play loudly among some beautiful sweetness. A very balanced tequila that is smooth and a bit creamy. The pepper is strong enough to mask barrel notes, but I don’t pickup much barrel flavor on many multiple sips. There is some nutmeg and maple that peek out but this is really agave sweet and pepper - exactly what G4’s business card would say.

Nose: Rich deep agave and oak. Good barrel influence but not overoaked. Charr, vanilla, earth, pepper, and mild notes of apple Flavor: Great mouth feel. Comes in with oak and vanilla and evolves to agave in the mid palate and then arrives back to oak for the finish. Quality anejo which I will never turn down

Aroma: Pure aromas of cooked agave layered with citrus, hints of vanilla, and minerality. Flavor: Initially sweet, very agave forward with some notes of the vanilla and oak in the back, creamy consistency. Finish: Very clean finish, with a nice minerality, flavors of black pepper, and a very slight alcohol bite. Overall: Another excellent G4 tequila. Very light on the color and definitely leans more towards a blanco. On revisit: The aroma is similar to the reposado, that is, earthy and herbal, but deeper, more in the way of cinnamon and other baking spices. The flavor is a mixture of apricot fruit, and baking spice sweetness. On the finish, a warm combination of cinnamon, light oak, agave, and black pepper.

Aroma of agave, cinnamon, and light yeast. Flavor has iakiness but very subtle and the great flavor profile of the Repo really lies at the foundation. Peppery slightly hot spices and a little more burn than the Repo but its very bearable and enjoyable since it's a flavorful burn.

Nose: Sweet agave. Vegetal notes, light caramel, touch of orange peel/pith. Vanilla that slowly gets more prominent after a few minutes in my snifter. Palate: Definitely agave, surprisingly mild on the oak to my taste. Vanilla is there, with some nice minerality. Slight ethanol burn that fades quickly into a peppery finish. Very clean, crisp añejo that maintains the character of the much believed Felipe Camarena blanco. Very long finish. I definitely recommend trying this if you like cleaner añejos with agave that doesn’t get overpowered by aging.

This is a lighter amber color than many añejos, which is Felipe's style. Nice oily legs in the glass. Aroma of cooked agave really comes out, followed by oak, vanilla and citrus. Flavor of cooked agave, black pepper and barrel spice. Lovely, long finish. This is a wonderful representation of an añejo that is true to the agave instead of being too heavy on oak and caramel from aging.

Huge fan of G4 XA and Blanco, not sure if there is such a thing as a bad bottle, tasted this with another tequila taster, we both agreed the after taste and finish was funky and unusually hot. Going to grab another bottle and retaste. Update originally gave this a 78, definitely had a tainted bottle. Bought another, restated and up my faith in G4!

Just reviewed this as my #tequilaoftheweek number 45 on @the_tequila_wanderer IG page. Can’t say enough good things about this. I obviously enjoy everything coming out of el Pandillo and this Anejo is no exception. Light oak and caramel on the profile, plenty of cooked blue agave notes and light pepper on the back end of the profile. Highly recommend

It is late July and I found this at Costco for $25!! Aroma is the best part with good agave and not too sweet. Taste is strong and hot in the mouth. Not as refined as many Añejos but still good. The finish is very long with good heat and great flavor.

Aroma : Cooked agave, grass, apricot/peach fruity notes, and cinnamon. Taste : Light in character but full bodied with oils and cooked agave, light oak, vanilla and black pepper. Some earth notes as well. Finish : Long lasting with previous taste notes with some stronger agave here, and some almond and toffee notes. This is a really nice Añejo. However, this would probably score in the 90+ range if there had been more of the fruit notes on the taste and finish.

Easily one of the best Anejo’s on the market, it still has tons of agave present. The oak is very complimentary, in most tequilas it bulldozes away a lot of other flavours but the Camarena’s seem to have perfected this balance. Get a bottle for home.

Slight vanilla on the nose, with taste of vanilla, agave, and floral. Nicely done.

Beautiful straw color for añejo, baked agave and citrus on the nose. Very nuanced oak flavor, refreshing to have an añejo be this agave forward. Clean, long finish and the right amount of punch.

Bright grassy agave nose. Tropical fruits, citrus, clean. Like the style. Silky on the tongue with vanilla and pepper. Bold agave and toffee after tones with warming heat. A favorite.

Lightly aged añejo, with warm, buttery, cinnamon and peach aromas. Great flavor that isn't overly oaked. Thumbs up!

Aroma of agave, citrus, butterscotch, chocolate. Buttery, agave taste with a little vanilla and pear and then a long, beautiful peppery finish. Quite light for an anejo, very balanced. Really fabulous.

Agave and minerality shines through in the nose. The same on the palate with slight sweet oak and pepper. Wish the finish was a bit longer. Very light on the color. Almost like a Repo. Anejos aren’t my favorite, but I really enjoyed this one. My least favorite of the G4 line, however.

Amazing- wet soaked cooked agave with minerality and light barrel spice. Agave stays throughout with a very fresh light pepper and whiskey notes in the background.

Agave, herbal and a little chocolate on the nose. Peppermint and agave hits the tongue right away with a a smooth, almost creamy finish. Really great to sip on
