Nose: Right away, there’s a burst of roasted agave-rich, earthy, and vegetal. It’s backed by notes of black pepper, citrus zest (especially lime and grapefruit), and a subtle herbal quality, reminiscent of fresh-cut grass and mint. There’s also a touch of minerality and a slight brine, giving it a savory edge that invites further nosing. Palate & Mouthfeel: On the palate, the high ABV makes its presence known, but the heat is balanced by vibrant flavor. The cooked agave comes through with clarity, layered with green peppercorn, citrus oils, and hints of sweet olive brine. There’s a spicy warmth - cracked pepper and chili flake, that tingles the tongue without overpowering. The texture is oily and full bodied, with a pleasing viscosity that coats the mouth and amplifies the flavors. Finish: The finish is long, warm, and complex. Peppery spice lingers alongside bright agave sweetness and a drying, earthy minerality. Hints of citrus and a faint, almost smokeless char note round it out, making the finish as satisfying as the first sip. Final Thoughts: It’s unapologetically bold, yet refined in its delivery.
