NOM 1609 | Overly sweet, fake aromas with alcohol right off the nose along with an overly sweet flavor profile. Nose: loads of vanilla here with citrus, caramel, cake, batter, black pepper, and alcohol, with cooked agave, taking a backseat. Palate: vanilla, black pepper, alcohol take centerstage here with some citrus, artificial sweetener, cake, batter, caramel, with some cooked agave being lost here. You can definitely tell that there are additives here as the cook agave is an afterthought in this bottle.

A sweet cotton candy with bubblegum bomb with a heavy mouth feel. The flavor comes off very chemically and artificial rather than natural. People just starting to try tequila and love very sweet things may enjoy this more than I did.

Aroma of cooked agave and grass. Flavor of cooked agave. My first sip also had a flavor of root beer. Second sip was better. Medium finish.

L1289ZS001 583 10:07 375ml Sweet vanilla and cake batter on the aroma with a slight presence of mint. Flavor confirms the cake batter and vanilla. Some pepper on a (thankfully) short finish. A poor example of what traditionally made tequila strives to be. Big deduction in points for value, there isn't any. Mind boggling that people overpay for unnaturally sweet, cake batter flavored liquid filth

NOM 1609 | Super unique and funky aroma that took me by surprise with dark tones of chocolate and pleather. Love it because it’s different but equally hate it for being so LOL!! Starts off tasting like a standard tequila then turns into a fucking Tootsie Roll :/ The producer either got weird with yeasts or there’s some as Skid Row would say, “Monkey Business” going on!! Where is the agave?? Where is there a “sense of place”?? Meh. Would drink if it’s free, but never would spend a peso on this. I’d recommend it for someone to see what happens things get weird but not for the right reasons. Aka ADDITIVES!!

NOM 1609 | strange nose, vanilla and Sugar Smacks cereal. Very fruity, Peach and red apple notes. Smell and taste ring of some sort of additive, too much that falls outside of "normal" blanco profile.

Maybe because I kept my expectations low but I found this to be drinkable. Certainly would never buy a bottle with so much authentic and cheaper tequila to choose from but if I'm at a party, I won't turn it down

NOM 1609 | On the nose this is actually pretty good after letting it sit (FYI this is a blonco and shouldn’t change) . Nice cinnamon and agave, loads of citrus, slight sweetness from vanilla. On the taste this is not good. Very sweet, no agave, loads of thick vanilla with a high chemical taste on the back end.

Overwhelming taste of fake vanilla dominates the flavor profile. The taste is non descript otherwise. If you like a really sweet liquor this world be fine but it's missing the agave taste and complexity which makes tequila special.

NOM 1609 | NOM 1609 | Sweet aroma for a blanco, (vanilla, caramel, cheap lollipop scent). Light spice kick (white pepper). Artificial sweetener finish; caramel & sugary. Flavor; confirms the unusual sweetness of a blanco. Pleasant sweetness, but abnormal. Herbal notes are prominent then again a lactic/artificial sweeteners finish

Sickly sweet artificial vanilla aromas and flavors. Even if you actively want additives in your tequila, you can do better than this.

NOM 1416 | Very artificial oily mouthfeel (like glycerin). Sweet nose (like cupcake frosting) but with a harsh alcohol note. More drinkable than many cristalinos I’ve tried but not by much.

NOM 1609 | Nose: Minty sweetness. Juicy fruit gum. Cloves. Artificial vanilla nougat. It does have a little mineral snap to the aroma. Flavor: A spicy cinnamon, clove and pepper start. The vanilla nougat flavor sits on the tongue with some body, but the flavor is over the top. Black pepper heat escalates, and has some accompanying bitterness.

NOM 1416 | Updating my rating from 6 years ago.. it used to have mint, cinnamon and green agave but is now a simple, very sweet tequila that smells of cake batter. No discernible flavor and a sweet finish. Light mouthfeel.

NOM 1416 | Like the rest of the Casanova’s line, I tasted this was a bit surprised with the smooth finish. Into much of a silver tequila fan, but I did enjoy this one. The Mezcal on the other hand, not so much.
