NOM 1441. Received a sample from a friend, but have heard that the price of the bottle is/was inexpensive (maybe USD10 to USD20). I give the value a 9 as a result as I would buy it all day, but it lacks a strong agave presence on nose and palate, which is why it's not a 10. It's probably more of an 8.5. Nose and palate have characteristics that I have come across in El Tesoro de Don Felipe aged products. The aromas and flavors include banana, earthiness, and mint, which others have pointed out already. The agave is there, but it's maybe a 2/10 in strength. The other characteristics are pleasing, but overshadow the agave. I also get flowers and light citrus on the nose and palate. Finish is very nice. Some viscosity, very low alcohol, very light black pepper, some nice spicy pepper.
