The vanilla was very strong and had a alcohol aroma on the back end. I got robust spices and an artificial orange taste on the finish.

Notes: apple pie, spiced up, honey, oak, baking spices, cinnamon, pepper, musty. Cooked agave was lost since this is a barrel forward expression

The word organic appears 10 times on the bottle but no mention of the vanilla syrup That dominates this turd.

Everything is pretty good. All around it’s a little bit on the plain side.

Nice agave, caramel, and pack flavoring. Plank pepper rounds this one out. Slight bit of earthiness, slight floral and chocolate notes. Very nice anjeo.

Light gold in color, similar to mead. The nose brings out deeper notes of caramel, butterscotch, vanilla, nutmeg, and oak. A nice, clean consistency, with a slight natural tasting sweetness. On the finish, very smooth, tastes very similar to biting into fresh out of the oven cooked agave, with a blend of vanilla, caramel, and baking spices. A mellow and smooth finish that leaves a nice warmth. Definitely a good everyday sipper of an añejo.

Oak, caramel, vanilla, agave, banana, and pepper all balanced really nice with good legs and a long finish. Great for folks who want something sweet and inviting.

This is a great tequila at a great price, the smell of agave hits you right away. a little peppery at the end but goes down without a lot of burn.

Full agave on the nose and a nice caramel follow

Aroma: smoke, earth, cedar wood, walnuts, spices, cloves, toffee,. Palate; earth and spices, caramel agave, cinnamon, cooked agave, black pepper and pepper corns. Finish: chocolate, caramel, agave, smoke, clove and spices. Not a mixer tequila!

Wonderfully balanced and exceptionally made. Oaky, nutty, roasted almonds, vanilla and toffee/caramel come through. Nice, oily finish.

Nose: Walnuts, filberts, toffee, dusty/dry earth, trace cedar, ripe dark fruit,and caramelized agave. Flavor: Vanilla, almond/hazelnuts, salted caramel, “ jerk hot” barrel spice, cinnamon and black pepper burn on the back of the palate. Popping spice notes, yet silky in the mouth. Finish: A well crafted, balanced and exciting profile that I could drink all evening.

Great anejo. Chocolate touch, oiliness, richness of flavor, but not sweet.

Smooth, slightly sweet, weak finish with some spice.

Unashamed fan boy. The transformation from the repo to anejo is impressive for sure. Still get very nice agave nose with some buttered toffee. Hint of cherry is interesting in the flavor Wonderful velvet finish with a bit more cherry Superb

Sipper no ice - my preference. Aroma is light, no real long after taste. A mild swish keeps flavors.

Finish is a bit disappointing, good value for an anejo .

This is one of my go-to sipping tequilas. The aroma is smooth with an oaky agave and hints of caramel. The agave and an earthy oak come through smoothly in the taste, with a nice peppery finish.

I love the agave punch in the face but it’s a little sweet for me.
