On the nose alcohol, cinnamon and anise, flavor is black pepper oak and caramel. Very viscous.

Nice mix of pepper and cinnamon. This does not have an overly sweet finish which sometimes comes with aging. A light pepper finish with a small touch of heat. Good all the way around.

This is a good tequila for the price. It’s good for sipping and smooth. Has mild vanilla flavors and some pepper on the finish (not too harsh), but lacks depth in flavor. I have other $30 bottles that I prefer, but it’s worth a shot.

Aroma is strong Carmel so I was expecting some sweetness but instead I got light peppery flavor and heat. Overall a decent tequila. Found it I on the higher end of average.

Nose: Strong lime and citrus rind with hints of musky oak. Slight herbal smell. Taste: Grassy undertones and lots of cooked agave! Earthy, very full and creamy; cotes your mouth. Initial slight peppery tingle. Full bodied without a negative oak influence; very well balanced. Hints of olive overtaken by a rich dark chocolate finish that lingers. Uncomplex, delivers a fantastic experience. Well balanced añejo for a great price. Excellent and very enjoyable!

Alcohol and musty saturated oak nose. Oak, vanilla, caramel, spice. Medium-spicy aged oak finish. Smooth, not too complex. biggest flaw: can taste NyQuil if you shoot it.

Slightly oily and astringent. Nice smoke and earthy tones. Not overly complex. Just straight up good not great tequila

Tasted at home out of a Riedel glass. I have previously only tasted the XA in this line which is quite enjoyable. I came across the Anejo for only $9.99, so I had to try it as well. Simple bottle with a nice slender neck and synthetic cork(which I like). The bottle is a nice Red color. The tequila is a nice golden color with almost an orange hue. The nose was somewhat sour just for a moment at first, followed by pleasant orange licorice scent with minimal alcohol. This tequila has long slow tears and coats the glass nicely. First sips are tingly with a light burn in the middle. Taste almost dry with an orangish flavor similar to the nose. Begins to smooth out after a bit with a nice warming somewhat cinnamon tingle in the finish. Overall nice, enjoyable, but not great. Not near as complex as the XA, but for $10, it's not bad at all. I normally see this tequila for around $20, and at that price, still a excellent value. I've seen where others have rated this tequila ridiculously low. For me, it's a sleeper at that price. I've paid much more for no better or even worse. Overall, it's a C++. I'd buy again, but I'll stick to the XA.
