Nice aroma of mint, black pepper, slight coriander and jalapeño. Sweet agave taste, a little watery, with a spicy finish (the jalapeño again.) Would have scored it higher if it were more viscous.

Very neutral aroma with a slight wet earth barnyard touch to it. Not complex at all on the nose. Flavor is similarly non complex and simple. Some cooked agave. But it is very thick and oily in the mouth. The finish is super clean and almost non-existent. I expected that this would have more character because it comes from what looks like a cool little rustic distillery capable of creating exciting products.

Mexican 38% abv. version, Lote: RGBN0001, bottled on 21-Nov-13, marbete is from 2010, tasted on 12-27-23. Aroma: aromatic raw agave, green apples, green vegetal notes, buttery, alcohol sensation is medium low, earthy. A hint of coconut. Palate: confirms aromas perceived, licorice, light black pepper. Citrus. Finish is medium to medium long, citrus, raw agave with green vegetal & hay notes persist. Ends slightly dry.
