Aroma: honey, agave, tropical fruits, spices. Palate: fruits, banana, lime, sweet orange, mango, guava, chamomile, pomegranate. Palate: fruits, spices, agave, nutmeg, ginger, marjoram, sweet flan custard. Finish is short to medium without heat, spicy, and agave. This is a nice tequila for enthusiast and connoisseurs alike. You will enjoy!
38% Mexico version. Light straw color with long legs on the glass. Aroma of vanilla and agave. Flavor of light pepper, oak and agave. Medium finish.
38% Mx. version @ $212 pesos... Dynamic nose. Caramel, vanilla, fruit, agave and light spices. Flavor: Nuts, maple syrup, light pepper and peach. Coats the tongue nicely. Impressive at this price point for sure!
Great value, nice caramel nose with vanilla and baked agave, and light pepper. Light bodied flavor corresponding to the aroma. A fairly long finish leaving the palate wet and peppery. In terms of value for quality, I put this in the same class as Muchote or even Tapatio Repo.
Not a bad sipper, but better in an Old Fashioned. actually a little sweeter than I like for a sipper. not sure of additives, but has a definite note of vanilla.
Bottle: LOTE 14DNRE1018 Appearance: Caramel Nose: Cooked agave, buttered caramel popcorn, cinnamon, oak, citrus, lime, black pepper, fruit, plum, pineapple, honey, maple, baking spice, alcohol, vanilla, cut grass, cream soda, and coffee…a really good nose Palate: Cooked agave, cinnamon, jalapeño, butter, oak, brine/salinity, olive, black pepper, alcohol, honey, molasses, citrus, lemon, roasted nuts, whiskey, and black tea…is this even the same tequila? Finish: Black pepper, molasses, jalapeño, and lemon…thin to medium viscosity with a short to moderate length Overall: This tasting was unexpected, all the way. The palate and nose almost felt like two different experiences, with both being very good. The nose was the star of the show and the aromas really popped up front, but the palate has a dry, tannic presence not dissimilar to many of the wine barrel rested tequilas I’ve tried. Considering the absurdly low price, this will get purchased many more times.
Strong notes of cooked agave and black pepper follow a wonderfully full, agave-focused aroma…and a steal for $469 MX!
$29 American Michigan Taste like a light tequila if that exists
$30 in Michigan
Green olive Cooked agave Carmel honey and vanilla Slow soft marshmallow toasted finish
Was visiting Playa Del Carmen and bought this at this Europeana place on 5th for 380 pesos which is 18 usd. Amazing at that price.
Agave, oak, caramel
Agave, caramel, oak, vanilla, solid tequila repo, better than most popular brands like Cuervos, but don't get me wrong, it's a personal preference
Aromas: agave, caramel, citrus, vanilla. Taste: perfect mix of the above as well, smooth. Nice clean finish. One of my favorite reposados.
good
Very nice aroma of agave, caramel and a hint of cinnamon & nutmeg. Mild flavor of agave, spice, light pepper. Oily finish on tongue and long, smooth finish. Bargain at $30 from Old Town. Blind rated on 12/31/21 higher than Fortaleza, El Tesoro (single barrel) & Santo Fino so I bumped it up a few points.
Roasted agave, vanilla and floral on the nose. Agave forward on the pallet, white flowers, hints of oak and vanilla. Very slight tannins on the finish. Tannins are short on the finish with agave medium long. Reminds of don julio repo. Great price for this quality of reposado. Producer told me it’s aged 6 months in American oak. The higher rating was due to the value. Very good juice for a really great price.
alcoholic
spicy oaky
Man I can just imagine how the ultra premium taste that’s one of my next buys when I find it
spicy! feel herb flavour with cooked agave. smooth, less alcohol taste.
some agave vanilla spice. not a favorite sipper. will probably use it in margs
Cálido medio, muy frutal, dulce y de lágrimas medias. Gran valor por precio

Agave, caramel, and oak on the nose. Barrel spice and some cinnamon. Then there’s a sweetness that reminds me of French oak but their “premium” uses American, so I’m not sure. There’s a sweet fruity note that is almost like dates. If I was nosing this blind, I’d think it was an añejo. Excellent nose. There’s a bit of Ethanol but it opens up and that disappears entirely. Cooked agave, some vanilla. Not really a lot going on. Definitely a little oak and pepper, possibly the caramel but it’s faint and it could be the nose tricking me. Short finish. Overall Pretty decent. For $25, it’s decent enough as a sipper but I felt the blanco was tastier, the oak is overpowering for me, and I’m not loving it. Still good, but I think Arette reposado is a better budget buy.
