cooked agave, citrus, wet grass, mineral, black ground pepper, somewhat herbal on the aroma. flavor carries over the aroma notes with maybe grapefruit coming through as the citrus component. mineral is still present. some spearmint is picked up on the back end. lacks depth. short finish even though the black ground pepper is a predominant flavor. for under $20, it is a reliable mixer, shots, rocks and emergency sipper. beats any diffuser made tequila. the great value is what put it at the 80 mark for me. UPDATE 06/07/2022: just had a bottle from 2021 and this has changed. Definitely has a slight cake batter aroma and flavor. I can no longer recommend this as a good budget mixer and my rating will be lowered
