Nice nose of agave and milk chocolate. Carmel and vanilla. Taste is agave forward followed by pepper, vanilla and caramel. A touch of banana on the tongue. Clean finish with medium viscosity. Another good tequila from 7 Leguas.

A very well balanced anejo with plenty of cook agave present. An overall great anejo at a great price point. Nose: cooked agave, oak, vanilla, caramel, butterscotch, black pepper, citrus, cinnamon, whiskey, and some earth. Palate: the nose carried over to the palate with the cooked agave come through with oak, vanilla, caramel, butterscotch, black pepper, citrus, cinnamon, whiskey, and earth. Such a great anejo with a medium to long finish and great balance. This one does not disappoint.

Nose: sweet agave / vanilla ! / caramel/ butter / banana/ grapefruit/ mint / tea / nutmeg/ butterscotch/ chocolate/ Taste: sweet agave / vanilla / pepper / earth/ caramel/ banana/ lime/ tea / nutmeg / butterscotch/ Finish: very low viscosity / nice quick clean finish with some lingering vanilla / very smooth This anejo is so good for the money!! It’s good vs. much higher cost anejos. The agave is a big taste note and stands out over the barrel notes, but it’s all there and working harmoniously. Very smooth and drinkable every day.

Nose: Agave, earth, vanilla, lemon and honey with clear backend of pepper and minerals. Flavor: Delightfully sweet lemon vanilla with a touch of oak, pepper, grapes and honey I blinded Siete Anejo against Ocho and Tapatio Anejo and Siete was the clear winner This is my absolute favorite tequila as it relates to the delicious quality combined with value for money and availability

Relatively light color for anejo. Nice legs. Great clarity. Nose is subdued, which I like in anejo and XA. I get an interesting grilled pineapple smell on this + cinnamon + soil. Much more citrus forward and less oaky than I expected. Tastes of light wood, lemongrass, black pepper. Not vanilla at all for me. Not super complex. Really light barrel hand on this. Modestly long finish that doesn’t change much, but is very pleasant indeed. I’m a fan. This is a blanco drinker’s anejo.

Nice agave on the nose. I agree, the repo is better. Little bitterness on the finish but overall not bad

Aroma: sweet agave, oak, butterscotch. Stewed or dried fruit… orange rind. A little vanilla, cinnamon and baked bread. Tobacco? Flavor: nice agave mixed with oak, cinnamon and vanilla. There’s a pop to it and spiciness that I like from this brand. It’s fruity to me but cooked fruit. Carmel. Deeper and richer flavor. Dried charry and plums maybe. Finish: long and tingly. I get a little bit of wet grass toward the end which is really interesting. Overall: this is an outstanding tequila. Lite and well balanced. It’s got some subtle complexity to it- if that’s a thing- and it all works really well together. Some agave, some fruit, some baking spice. I’d pay happy pay double the price for this añejo. It’s a steal. This brand always over delivers.

Aroma: Sweet cooked agave, an interesting funky note. Followed by caramel and vanilla. Very earthy and somewhat floral, that’s the only way I can describe. Sweet, earthy, and floral. Palate: Heavy on the agave, and spice. Absolutely some Cinnamon and the barest hint of toasted walnut or pecan. Definitely earthy, and oaky, though not overpowering. Very complex, nice balanced sweetness. Verdict: An absolute stunner imo, this will be on regular rotation. It’s a very agave forward and full bodied añejo that lets the agave shine. This might just be the perfect agave lovers standard añejo. It’s complex without being over the top, just good agave, good tequila, good barrels, and a good amount of time resting. Wonderful tequila, I strongly recommend this to be in your collection. Absolutely stellar tequila.

Love the whole Siete Leguas line what an amazing tequila. I started drinking this tequila at dinning table with my mother-in-law and we almost finished the bottle. It is so easy to drink.

The aromas initially hit with strong notes of sweet cinnamon cooked agave, layered with brown sugar, oak, and some hints of anise in the depths. On the palate, flavors of muted agave, light caramel, vanilla, and cinnamon, with a watery consistency, and some elements of orange citrus. A sugary lingering sweetness on the finish, with some agave and anise, short and slightly off.

Tasted at Don Quinta Jose. The reposado is one of my favorites and this Añejo could be one too! Aroma is sweet with caramel and is the beat part. Taste is solid with lots of agave left. The finish is ok. Not long lasting. It reminds me of my favorite Fortaleza Añejo.

A great anejo at a great price. Everything you would want in an anejo: cooked agave, cinnamon, buttery nose with some citrus in background. Those aromas continue through on the flavor with butterscotch, vanilla and caramel. Orange peel, chocolate, fresh pineapple (aftertaste, not initial bite), banana and some oak enter in gradually. Retrohale (retrotaste) allows flavor to develop on the medium to semi long finish

The nose is whiskey and oak, cooked agave sweetness, earthy, honey, pepper and spice. Vanilla with a pinch of butterscotch, caramel, pepper, vegative, with fruit and smoke and a hint of nuts and cinnamon along with some burnt caramel. The taste is smooth and silky, creamy and buttery, honey, vegetal, spice, light caramel, brine and light vanilla, along with some light fruit and some heat on the back end. The finish is spicy and okie, would vanella notes, peppery, slight alcohol tangle and some light brine, ending in a medium to long laid finish. This is truly a clean, complete and traditional anejo.

Aroma : Cooked agave and oak predominate. There is also some fruity, rasberry notes here, and some vanilla as well. Taste : A small amount of cooked agave here. Some oak and a small degree of vanilla. There is also a cashew/almond nuttiness as well. Some oils and medium/full bodied. Slightly bitter. Finish : Medium/long finish with some emphasis on the oak and nut aspects of the taste. Fantastic Añejo. I really like the nut notes on this tequila. If only there was some fruit-like notes on the taste this would easily score in the 90+ range.
