Starting June 1, the airline will begin offering tequila on select flights as an inflight alcoholic beverage option for eligible customers.
As the fastest growing spirit in the U.S., tequila has overcome its bad rap as the cheap, college hangover culprit, while simultaneously breaking into a fixated market, where vodka and whiskey previously reigned. What propelled this shift?
1 liter 38% abv., LOTE: 103119, tasted on 3-8-25. Color: yellow to light yellow. Aroma: light cooked agave, hint of raw agave, light acidity, hint of earthiness, after 20 minutes in the glass a hint of fruitiness emerges. Palate: confirms aromas perceived, good sweet sour and citrus balance, a tad dry. Finish is medium to almost medium long, light cooked agave with a hint of raw agave plus a hint of earthiness persists.
