Aroma of caramel, butter, and a little agave. Flavor of agave, pepper and vanilla. Medium finish.

The aromas I picked up were scathing ethyl, oak, caramel, brine, and light butterscotch The taste cuts with strong ethyl but the agave, citrus, light brine, light caramel, and vegtal tones are there but patience is needed in order to sort through the potent alcohol taste. Finish is brine with light peppery alcohol and agave.

Nose- Wet grass, raw agave, rubbing alcohol Palate- Cooked caramel Finish- Sweet… somewhat clean. Overall decent value reposado that has high that would make a good cocktail base.

Not much to say it's sippable, moderate complexity. Considering the price it's good enough.

Aroma : Agave, alcohol, vanilla, cinnamon and oak . Nothing too complex here. Taste : Alcohol and agave with a fair amount of vanilla and oak. Again nothing too complex here. To me it seemed like the notes got "mixed" together or something of the like. It might have something to do with the oddly sweet nature of the vanilla notes. Finish : Finish is somewhat short with a bit of spice and alcohol, with some vanilla notes here as well. This is a pretty basic tequila. Not bad, but it's not something I would drink straight again. I'm sure it would go well in a margarita though.

This is a shot tequila for fun parties at a decent price, but falls short of a sipping tequila under my ratings

Nose: Had a sweetness of honeysuckle, caramel, wood, citrus and berries. Muted agave. Tongue: A little hot. Agave was not the star of the show. Butterscotch, oak, light vanilla, sweetener, pressure-cooked agave. Long, but somewhat artificial finish. With that said, it wasn’t offensive. The price point is fantastic, just not an all-night sipper, for me.

Still quite a bit of bitterness off the hop but the oak treatment seems to have weeded out the sweet agave I love so much! Warm butterscotch finish is nice but I’ll stick with the Blanco.

Nose: Bright agave, fruit and floral notes. Palate: Initially, semi viscous, pepper and sweet agave. Secondary spices, mint and trace almond emerge. Mexican 38%.

Sweet aroma, there is a slight burn on the finish. Definitely a good value tequila that can stand on its own.

Soft notes of caramel and toasted oak make for an approachable aroma, but it feels a bit one-note. The smooth vanilla and mild spice are nice, but the sweetness dominates, leaving it unbalanced. The warm, woody finish fades too quickly, with a touch of harshness. It’s decent but could use more depth to truly shine in the reposado lineup.

Nose: A bit vanilla sweet, but much more after 5minutes in the glass. Agave. More oak/sedar , and Ethanol! Additives? I don’t care! This Tequila may not be the best sipper, but would do a hell of a job in a cocktail Taste: A pleasant burn with some Agave notes. It’s a bit thin but a very fresh mouth feel. Aftertaste: Fresh, a bit peppery, agave and with a tiny bit of Oak end Ethanol.

Mexican 38% abv. version, tall bottle with a light blue plastic twist cap with fun stopper, LOTE/029, bottled on ??/AGO/2004M, tasted on 10-7-24. Color: yellow to dark yellow. Aroma: sweet cooked agave, light resinous sweetness, light citrus, light orange & light orange blossom, hint of earthiness, light acidity, cooked agave becomes sweeter when this tequila is oxygenated and opens up. Palate: confirms aromas perceived, good sweet sour and citrus balance, thick mouthfeel. Finish is medium to medium long, light sweet cooked agave, light resinous fruitiness with a hint of earthiness persists.

creamy and caramel nose, really delicate. Fresh agave, fruity notes In the mouth is really really smooth, elegant, so easy, with a touch of spice and spiciness. Not overly complex but super nice, really full body, feels like cream, with notes of cooked agave.

i am pretty sure that on a blind Tasting with arette reposado or calle 23 repo there would be no much diference. I think people from Espolón does a pretty decent and underrated job.
