Being the type of guy who's always on the lookout for a good value, I found it nearly impossible to pass up Espolon when I saw it for under $20. It's a good brand from a good distillery.
For some tequila lovers it’s not enough to simply go to the store and pickup their favorite brands. They crave the rare, the undiscovered, the known but forgotten—in short, they like to hunt for tequila treasures.
The aroma was indeed filled with a citrus note but overwhelming filled with scathing ethyl as well. The pepperiness was only subdued slightly by letting the bottle rest for a few days. Their is a noticeable taste of cooked agave but overall a bit too rough to constantly enjoy neat.
