Impressed! Just a little smoky and earthy, lots of flavor, good stuff. Had a small pour and will need to revisit for full notes.

I was fortunate to he able to try this a couple of times this year at the distillery - once in April and once in November. This high-proof is special. Sergio Cruz and the crew at Vivanco keep hitting it out of the park with their high-proof tequilas, and Muerto is one of the best I've had recently. Sweet cooked agave, fruit, mint, anise, pepper, well balanced and muy delicioso!

One of the best new high proof blanco’s to be released in a year of high proof tequilas. Sweet cooked agave, light pepper and spice, anise with light earthy notes. This one is a banger. Salud

Sweet fruits and berries lively cooked agave. On the palate it is sweet agave, peppermint anise, a bit of earthiness. Very bright. This is more hard rock than Mozart. It is delicious in every way but so different than Vivo but both are so excellent.

Another banger from 1414! Nose: some smoke/no funk/mint/agave/anise/minerals/ didn’t get a heavy presence of water (no alcohol kick either. Where the funk was with Vivo, now there’s agave! Palate: Serious punch of agave, sweetness, butter and relaxed black pepper combined with. a little spicy jalapeño pepper. Beautifully done.
