Nose: vegetal / agave (raw) / hint of melon / dried fruit/ faint citrus / bell pepper/ hay / salt / Taste: agave / vanilla / earth / mineral/ vegetal/ hay/ apple / melon / orange peel / anise / light spearmint/ bell pepper/ salt / alcohol/ Finish: very light viscosity mouthfeel / lingering bittersweet and earth notes with a light agave/anise sweetness that gets overrun by the vegetal/earthy bitter through the backend of the final swallow. This blanco has some strong bitter notes that are not in balance with the sweeter agave/anise flavors. The overall taste is decent, but if the finish was less bitter and less earthy the overall experience would be more enjoyable.

Fruit and agave on the nose. A pleasing and full bodied taste on sipping with a nice amount of natural sweetness.

I like the nose. Agave up front along with cinnamon. Slightly fruity. Anise and mint. On the palate it gives you cooked agave first. I get citrus, mint, black pepper, lime and grassy notes. Mouthfeel is thin and watery. A bit of alcohol on the finish. Also a bitterness at the end. Overall, I like this but based on the suggested retail, there is better blancos for the price. Thank you Tequila Diva for sending this sample.

this blanco evolves as it opens, bringing notes of sweet agave, anise, mint, tropical fruit, yeast, some citrus and minerality. the palate is more subtle than the nose, and the finish fades quickly. could that be due to the carbon filtration? overall beautiful, classy bottle, easy sipper. tho price was reduced from $96 to $76, it's still a bit high for a 40abv blanco.

Light spearmint aroma. Brighter flavor with some mint, agave, brine, and citrus peel that has a little pop to it. Pricey.

Nice aroma. Light on the flavor and finish, it seems as if the carbon filtration strips away some prominent features of the agave. High price point.

The aroma is earthy with hints of minerals, and there’s a touch of agave, anise, black pepper, and minerals on the palate. Personally, I’m not a huge fan of anise, so that might affect my impression. The anise flavor is noticeable right when it hits my tongue. Overall, the flavors are subdued, with a light mouthfeel.

Nose: Heavy ethanol. Some grassy notes with some brightness. Floral notes on the back end. Would like less ethanol overall. Taste/Finish: Decently balanced. A tad bit of salinity/minerality. Some sweetness on the front end. Definitely finishes with pepper and ethanol that lingers. Faint baking spices that are reminiscent of old-school tequila. Wanted a tad less sweetness with more bright agave notes.

Vessel: Glencairn Glass Nose: yeast, anise, spearmint, dry cut grass, black pepper Mouthfeel: Very light. Consistency of spring water Palate: citrus, spearmint, black pepper, anise, raw agave Finish: Briney, Hay, Lime, Spearmint,Very Bitter notes. This sample was given to me to try from a friend in the community, Christine Hansen (Tequila Diva). She's great, and free samples are always appreciated, so shout out to her first and foremost! That said, this one was not my favorite. The body was too light, and there was an underlying bitterness throughout. Their were moments where I found value in the flavors I got on the palate, but the finish was on the harsh side for me.
