The taste was the most memorable quality of this Repo. The aroma did not stand apart to me and didn’t highlight anything different or distinguishing that I have not experienced with Repos yet the enjoyment was truly found in the taste. Cooked agave raisin sweetness while not being overpowered by the influence of the barrels yet still displaying a soft caramel tone and delicious minerality and freshness. I enjoyed this more than I expected.
