Not for me. Very much smells like whiskey, which I don’t mind, and is actually what made me select that I would recommend… to a whiskey drinker. I looked very hard for agave but couldn’t find it. Smells good generally, tastes like whiskey without the kick. Ok it’s growing on me a little as the glass lowers but I only have so many sippers in me each night and I probably wont come back to this one. Thank you Tequila Diva for the sample.

The Blanco and Reposado odd aroma is mostly muted in this Añejo. A bit of stone fruit and some barrel spice and zero agave on the nose. In the mouth it isn't totally offensive and not nearly as sweet as expected, quite whiskey barrel forward. Still some aspartame sweetness on the finish like the Reposado and dryness from the barrel. Again no agave. I applaud the education efforts with regard to music the brand is tied to, but actually drinking this is more of a wah-wah sad note moment than any type of orchestral effort. thanks tequila.diva for the samples

Musica Anejo revisiting as I normally do with a new brand when I'm able to. there is a slight funky flavor on the palate that I didn't get the first time. original review: Color very dark, looks like an XA, almost red! Nose: pleasant= fruit, orange, barrel spice, cherry, whiskey, Palate: sweet with mild oak, whiskey Finish: dry Notes: 1. I rated average value because I don't know cost. 2. I am mostly a blanco drinker. when I drink aged expressions, I prefer exhausted barrels that don't overtake the agave. this particular expression is much sweeter than I prefer, and there isn't much agave present. it's not my profile, but I think this will be approachable for newbies coming from the whiskey world
