so this anejo seems like a good value for the price until you start analyzing it a little more deeply and realize that all the wonderful aromas and flavors are most likely due to additives, the vanilla itself is out of balance and gets a weird flavor as it disperses as you're drinking it. I'm sure if you gave it to most people who are unaware of all the additives that are currently being added to Tequila they would think it's wonderful because it is smooth and does have a nice flavor albeit to almost unnatural levels even for a well-aged tequila

Additive bomb. Very sweet with heavy vanilla, butterscotch notes. If casamigos anejo (this is an obvious knockoff) and class azuls are your thing, then this is a good value pick for you

This is a great tequila that I would compare to Casa Migos and probably better, especially for the price. Good rich caramel flavor with a smooth finish. With anejo prices skyrocketing since covid, this one has stayed at a great price.

First the price should have been a huge red flag. It’s way to cheap to be a good tequila. It’s very sweet and if you read my reviews you know I don’t think tequila should be sweet like candy. I would not want to drink this again.

I was expecting more and tastes of artificial caramel/vanilla

Definitely on the sweater side for an Añejo. Loads of caramel and vanilla not much agave just a touch.
