Real subtle aroma and good taste and real balanced finish. At nose: light smokiness, neutral aroma between agave and oak. At taste: Light oakiness at first, then a light pepper strike. At the end, at last, some agave is spotted. Not so complex taste. Finish: Good body, good creamy/oily body. Real balanced finished between character and smoothness.

Nose: Celery, caramelized agave, lime peel, minerals, a fleeting note of butterscotch and the slightest scent of geraniums. (Which are actually pelargoniums.) Flavor: Spicy green peppercorns, honey cinnamon graham, creamy almond caramel, coffee, and tannin tingle on the sides of my tongue. Semi oily. Finish: Pepper, anise and faint butterscotch. Mouth filling experience. Revised upward on 5/10/2019

I like this more than the blanco as the barrel mellows out some of the citric/citrus notes and adds some tannins, though very muted. So easy to go back to, open bottles of this never last long.

Grassy, slight citrus, agave and mineral nose and mint/mineral finish. Solid, light touch repo with classic Ocho oiliness.
