A reposado bottled at 36% ABV. Made at NOM 1123 the tax stamp on this mixto export is from 2003. Pretty sure that from the color this has caramel added which Cascahuin freely admits to using in contract brands when asked for. Not bad overall in aroma and flavor, this has an other alcohol harshness on the finish. Interesting to try as a counterpoint to 100% agave tequila from the same time period.

Mexican 36% abv. version, lote: M01G1009:41L9, marbete is from end of 90’s, tasted on 3-23-24. Color: yellow to dark yellow. Aroma: light sweet cooked agave, light fruitiness, aromatic green vegetal notes, light acidity, light citrus, orange peel, hint of earthiness, quite impressive for a 36% abv.! Palate: confirms aromas perceived, good sweet sour and citrus balance but doesn’t last too long. Finish is medium, hint of sweet cooked agave with light citrus, orange juice, hint of green vegetal notes with a hint of earthiness persists but not too long.
