NOM 1480 Pleasant aromas of oak, caramel, allspice, and cinnamon. Sweet across the tongue with bourbon-like flavors. Finish of baking spices and sweet cooked agave.

Good XA. Not a lot going on for agave but good barrel notes in the taste and finish. A little sweet.

Vanilla, buttered toast, cassia bark, citrus zest on the nose. Great agave, bright vanilla, balanced richness on the palate. Finish lingers on for a while with the most faint and subtle notes of smoke. Excellent extra anejo. After tasting the Joel Richards Petals, I knew this one would be wonderful. Happy to have this in my collection.

Bright clean agave note on impact. Settles into cinnamon, vanilla, caramel in the mid palate. Finishes with a subtle smoke and oak for a 30+ second finish

While the 3 year aging has imparted quite a pleasant nose, it does not show through in the taste and finish. Can not recall what I paid for this, but saw it at Spec’s today in Bee Cave TX for $88. There are plenty more non diffuser, non autoclave extra aged tequilas out there that are smoother, more buttery, and better bang for buck. If unsure, then just pay the extra cost for some of the more we’ll known expressions like Cuervo family reserve or other small high end offerings for big name tastes.

Kind of sweet and peppery, sort of a bourbon taste to it. I’ll miss this one. Keeping the bottle to remind me. This is a quality spirit!

There's not a whole lot I found desirable about this tequila. It's a 41% abv tequila and it smells more like 50%. For an extra anejo it's very hot on the tongue. The flavor is just "ok". For the price there are much better tequilas.

Excellent bottle that looks top shelf. Nice colour and excellent aroma + taste. Slight heat but long pleasant after taste. A good addition to the collection.
