NOM 1459 | Let's get real for a minute. Let's drop the " MUY" from the name. Although a drinkable tequila it's not up to par with many other "extra anejo's". I found the after burn to be a bit harsh. I like the oak flavor in tequilas but I suspect it was aged in scotch casks, which I'm not real big on. Scotch drinkers may like this one.

Tasting the extra anejo black edition NOM 1459. Color is about the same as most anejos. Little on the thin side, fingers that take a while to appear and don't really last that long. Nose at first pour has some alcohol that fades as it sits and oak. After the alcohol fades some caramel shows up. Taste is smooth but they just can't get rid of all the alcohol from the stainless process. The flavour does longer awhile but not in a bad way. Will have to wait and see how much these change as the bottle sits over time.
