Definitely a mixer, but at that it is really not that bad. Compared to sauza or Jose Cuervo especial, it’s still tons better. it works well for margaritas and palomas for the cost and your skipping out on the entire rotgut mixto tequila.

This is 100% Agave, don’t let it be confused with the cheaper mixto Messicano tequila. I can tell you that certain fabled Mexican restaurants in Atlanta, GA use this 100% Agave silver as the base spirit in their “Texas” margaritas,, blending it with Mayson’s frozen concentrated mix for both frozen and on the rocks concoctions. Don’t forget to add a little Herradura Agave Nectar for additional depth and then top it off with a high quality orange Liqueur like Royale Montaine or Gran Marnier. In 2018 Tower Wine and Spirits special orders me 1L bottles for $17.99. Don’t be surprised to see negative, lackluster reviews about this product or for stores to say they have never heard of it, likely local restaurants are buying it by the pallet. Remember it’s a perfect 100% Agave base for margaritas.

Rubbing alcohol and pepper. Legit passable as vodka.
