NOM 1489 | Great off the nose, peppery roasted agave. Complete rocket fuel, my tongue is still tingling from all the alcohol! Spicy, long finish.

Nom 1489 apparently a mixto?... Well it's a darn tasty one then!... Tad thin but smooth. Taste is similar to Alacran?

I don't think it is 100% agave but it's drinkable

This is good. Real good. But I'm drunk.

Very good…and the bottle floats in the pool. This is the perfect tequila to introduce to the less experienced tequila drinker who only drinks tequila in margaritas to a reposado that is simply good to sip on. It’s not as complex as some of the other reposados for the same price, but I would put it in my top 10 ALL. DAY.

NOM 1438 | Finish is vegetal, minty for sure. Notice toasty vanilla as well on the palate. I got this for $30 but that’s with a $10 off sale, not sure I’d get it without the discount. Time will tell.

a little bit of fire on the lips and tounge at first. Once you get past that its sweet vanilla toasty.

NOM 1489 | Sooo close on so many levels. A little too hot to finish. Lots of alcohol notes on the nose hides the agave flavour I’m looking for. Flavour on the plate is nice

NOM 1489 | I buy a bottle of this about every 6 months just for how different it is. Usually about half way through the bottle I'm reminded of why it's not more of a regular. It's got licorice on the nose and that morphs itself into spearmint by the finish. Like I said it's different. What happens after the nose and before the finish is completely unspectacular. UPDATE : Purchased a bottle for delivery during quarantine and I was blown away by a familiar taste. Sure enough when I looked at the NOM it was 1438. This company switched NOMS to my favorite NOM. 1438 produces Los Azulejos, Tierra Fertil and Michael Jordan's new stuff. This NOM uses a combination of highland and the addition of lowland agave that gives it the added "candy" sweetness. I changed my rating.

Nice citrus-vanilla aroma with a hint of something grassy or mossy. Flavour is spicy/peppery, cinnamon. Long peppery finish.
