So tonight, it's Sauza 100 Anos Reposado Tequila. For the price point ($22!) it's hard to beat, delicious: smooth, butterscotch flavors and honeycomb throughout with a hint of spice and white pepper on the finish. Will buy again!

Light amber color in the glass. Aroma of pepper and oak. Flavor is a bit artificial. Not much to the finish.

Not my favorite tequila by any stretch, but I've had worse. On the nose I can smell cooked agave, black pepper, and it had a general vegetal quality. After some opening up, there was a bit of oak and very faint hints of fruit present. Opening up even more didn't seem to have any other effect. The flavor is a mix of cooked agave, black pepper, and a briny, salty veggie flavor. There is also a touch of oak and some bitter citrus, like a lime or orange peel. The finish was over extremely quickly, nothing of note there other than a slight lingering burning sensation.

Made with a difusser, so in paper this doesn't look promising. Dominant flavor is first alcohol and then cooked agave. Worse part of this tequila is the bitterness in the finish. The price point is well placed for a 100% agave tequila (one of the cheapest ones) although in the end I think it will just add an alcohol flavor to it. Perhaps a direct competitor to El Jimador and Centenario Azul. For sipping I think I would better go with Centenario Azul.

Very solid Reposado for the price. Clearly not a top shelf bottle but when factoring in price I give it bonus points. Poor bottle presentation though...

I won a bottle of this in Mexico on two different occasions by participating in some on stage bafoonery at the Pacifica Grand in Ziuantanejo. I drank the first bottle and it was ok. The second I gifted to the cleaning lady. I laugh a little every time I see a bottle of it. You should have been there.

What was I thinking purchasing this one? The nose is peppery and sticky almost artificially sweet at the same time. I will say the flavor is true to the smell...peppery on the front end followed by an artificial sweetener taste on the finish. This is going to be a mixer for me or perhaps I can serve it to the visiting relative that I don't like very much.
