This artificial crap tasted like Jolly Rancher to me. Zero agave. WTF!

I will never understand how anyone can consider this drinkable. It most certainly has a closer relationship to gasoline than it does Tequila.

On the nose it has cooked agave but right away cinnamon and butterscotch comes thru, it has a medium finish with a pleasant smooth creme brulle oily mouth feel. This reminds me of Don pilar añejo ( same distelery).

Heavy on vanilla and cream soda. I also get some cinnamon and caramel. Slight hint of alcohol on the nose and palate.

The first impression is of sweet woody aromas, dried figs an prunes, caramel, maple syrup and toasted walnuts. Very smooth flavor where the intense notes of oak and sweet flavors, vanilla, chocolate, coffee and nuts stand out with great persistence in the mouth of tobacco and toffee.

This is one of the best tequilas I’ve ever had. It has notes of strong caramel and some vanilla and then the finish has hints of a sort of coffee, espresso. It is aged for 8 years!! It’s unique and bold; unlike any other tequila I’ve tasted. Very impressed. It’s like the crème brûlée of tequila.

Soledad translates to Solitude. To become an 8-year Extra Anejo, one must spend many years in Solitude. Color Great body, intense and bright amber color with deep mahogany nuances. Aroma The first impression is of sweet woody aromas, dried figs and prunes, caramel, maple syrup and toasted walnuts. Taste Very smooth flavor where the intense notes of oak and sweet flavors, vanilla, chocolate, coffee and nuts stand out with great persistence in the mouth of tobacco and toffee. Pairing It is recommended to pair with fine meats, chocolate or cigars. Aged 8 years in hand selected ex bourbon barrels to create the perfect collaboration between oak and agave. Soledad is truly a one of a kind Extra Anejo. This Highlands tequila region has characteristics of being rich in minerals that give it a red color providing a diversity of aromas and flavors that these lands offer. The flawlessly ripe "pinas" are then cooked to perfection in our traditional ovens. After cooking we ferment the crushed agave juice to create beautiful Aguamiel. We then distill their spirit drink from the stills, extracting only the heart of the tequila.

Coffee and the nutty notes overwhelmed this tequila. It is very oaky also. Save your money and buy Tapatio Excelencia, Tequila Ocho extra Anejo, Don Pilar Extra Anejo, El Tesoro de Don Felipe Extra Anejo and Paradiso Extra Anejo these are definitely better options

Nose has hints of caramel and cherry, slight agave notes. Body has large burnt sugar and dark chocolate notes, absolutley slammed with additives without a doubt. Incredibly sweet. Finish is thin to the point of being almost nonexistent, slight hint of a creme brulee and earthy minerality before disappearing. It's a pretty decent (if hugely sweet) XA, but nowhere near worth $180 being asked at my Total Wine. I'd pay something like $50/60 normally.
