unnaturally sweet. popular Total Wine brand. the line is sweeter as you get to the aged expressions (especially the cristalinos). fine if you like that flavor profile, but not for me

Nose: floral, cinnamon, caramel, and perfume Flavor: overly sweet, oak, some cooked agave, and light amount of baking spices, has a dry mouth feel Finish: long starts sweet and ends peppery

Nothing mind blowing here, it wants for a bit more complexity compared to my favorite reposados, but still, very smooth, agave-forward, sipping friendly.

Aroma has soft notes of vanilla, butterscotch, oak, and flowers. Taste is good with the same tasting notes- nice heat but the sweetness that lingers takes away from the overall flavor.

The vanilla sweetness was very overpowering. Did not taste the agave. Even the aroma was too much. Everyone at the table could smell it at a distance.

beginner at this but I loved the sweet finish for easy of sipping. vanilla and caramel finish with some smoke/oak taste.

Good sipper from a chilled glass. Tastes better on the rocks. Gimmicky bottle like Oro and Addictivo

if you like fake sugars and artificial flavors, this over priced tequila is yours.

Cinnamon

Total BS that this is additive free. My blood sugar rose after sipping this sugar bomb. very little agave or tequila taste. This is a Total Wine house brand you should walk right by it.

This tequila is additive free. I can personally attest to that; as I work in the company that bottles mi familia Flores. We did not believe the additive free tag either. So they invited us to their distillery. They ferment for 24 more hrs than the usual tequila. The vats are literally overflowing with froth. It's truly incredible to see this innovation and the tequila it produces. Aromas: Vanilla, caramel, cooked agave. Notes: Caramel, caramel, caramel. This reposado is silky in the mouth and lusciously caramel in every way imaginable. It finishes with a soft, intensely buttery trip for your whole mouth. I know a lot of people dislike sweet tequila. I understand where they're coming from; and sweet tequila usually means added sugar. Can we stop and appreciate the way this additive free tequila can make us argue about their tag?

One of the worst tequilas I have ever tasted. it was recommended by the total wine guy I should have known better. it is truly terrible, it tastes like an additive factory.

Very sweet, tastes like juicy fruit gum. The only reason I bought the bottle was the sales person at Total Wine in The Woodlands, TX said it was additive free and it was written on the counter tag as additive free. If you have proof otherwise, then it’s deceptive trade practices by Total Wine.

Sampled this at a chain liquor store. Very sweet!

Mi Familia Reposado (Total Wine) Summary: Slight better than their blanco, but not enough to change my opinion. Thuis is a hard pass for me. I echo Don Heiser's review comments.

Cupcake/marshmallow……if Worthers candy made tequila this would be it.

I found this to be one of the most agreeable tequilas I’ve ever experienced. Employee at Total Wine said it out performs any tequila in blind tastings.

I sampled this at a total wine. They had cases stacked in an aisle. It was awful as i expected since the floor minion pushed it on me for a “great tequila”. I don’t know if the repo or Anejo was worse but both didn’t taste like tequila.

Reposado cristalino artificial sweetener taste

A definite step down from the blanco IMO. No agave and there’s a prominent cupcake/marshmallow thing going on. Probably a good intro to tequila for some, but it’s not my thing.
