Aroma: Honey and vanilla, very similar to the añejo. Taste: Sweet, with those same notes of honey and vanilla. Finish: A nice, lingering finish with that toasted barrel herradura bite, a little bitterness on the end. Overall: Another very nice tequila from Herradura, similar to the añejo but slightly better.

Don’t smell a lot of agave so there may be some fillers. Taste is ok. Very whiskey like vanilla/ oak with a slight bit of grassiness. It a good bit of burn that doesn’t go away. But the peppery finish is a nice touch.

Smells exactly like you want it to, roasted agave and oak, no surprises there. Flavour is a little thin for me, I was looking for fireworks and that signature Herradura flavour somewhere but it’s just not present. I like that this isn’t sweet, it’s really been tempered by American oak. *For the record I’m drinking Hi Time Cellars Barrel No. 528, bottle 217, April 2014 edition.

Hi-Time, Costa Mesa CA. Aroma of agave, spice. and citrus Bold baked agave and pepper flavor. Slightly bitter.

Picked by Total Wine of WA. Lots of initial spice and some custard and caramel notes. Pretty long finish with some lingering sweetness.

Overly sweet. Not much agave present. Not much else to say.

Smells sweet, vanilla

Very unique aroma and taste. Aroma is very nice. Vanilla and spice. Not as happy with the taste: pepper juniper. Good for a unique experience.

private barrel pick aroma has a large charred bourbon barrel character. caramel, cooked agave, tobacco, low minerality, low alcohol/acetone flavor follows but also has some black pepper, low vanilla, stronger minerals. fairly thin mouthful finish is the most enjoyable part, agave becomes more apparent along with vanilla and more earthy tobacco this isn't bad but at $65 there are much better options. was ok in a margarita but doesn't beat less expensive options

Probably the harshest taste of all the Herradura’s I’ve had and a few are in my top 5! The silver añejo was entry way into tequila sipping and I swear by it! This reposado just didn’t hit the mark for me.

It feels like has additives, the flavor of the raw oak is dominant

This tequila is so fascinating. It's got tequila flavors mixed with other properties, which strengthens it as a high quality tequila. The scent is familiar with agave and vanilla, but it also comes with a hint of what I'm familiar with bourbon. And then the taste is just as complex as I get both tequila and whiskey, but the best aspects of both. Suffice to say this may very well be one of the best tequila I've ever had.

this was definitely a nice reposado and better than their regular reposado

Strong wood notes on the nose as well as a hint of dry fruits and spices. Wood notes more mild on the pallet but still prevalent, smooth finish. Enjoyable sipper.

Liked it enough to purchase a case from Remedy Liquors a couple of years ago; terrific, value; nice on the nose, slight sweet honey & caramel notes; slight sweetness across the palate; smooth across the back of the throat; winner at this price point!

Nose: oak, honey, anise, bubblegum, subtle smokiness. Taste: smoke, peet, vanilla, with a mild sweetness, robust burn as it goes down.

Aroma of bubble gum and banana. Harsh flavor with a heavy burn and bitter aftertaste. I would guess there are additives here.

Strong tasting. Pleasant after tongue fatigue. A bit overwhelming if starting. Will revisit

Nice aroma of caramel and oak. Similar aroma to Añejo. Taste is good and Añejo like as well. Very sweet for reposado but not too much for me. Finish is a bit harsh without much flavor.

This is an awesome tequila - the taste just is so smooth and sweet.
