You just can't find a cooler bottle that you'd want to use as decanter and show off. However, best done without label and with another product if you're going to do so. Aroma is great. Balanced, buttery, fruity. Taste is hmmmm. No payoff of what the aroma teases. A little flavor starts to well up then when you think it will expand...pffft! Nothing much afterwards. Wanted so much for this to be more but it is what it is and at the end of the day was well worth my money for the bottle alone.

I like this bottle from NOM 1420, bottle number 145, aromas are very pleasing, cooked agave, sweet, wood with a smooth mid palate and finish. Great package too boot.

We keep moving in the wrong direction here, don’t ask me how I know this bit this smells and tastes like shampoo. I think this is utter rubbish considering the premium price they charge.

Nose: Butterscotch, oak shavings, a cider note, ripe red fruit and some salinity. Flavor: Vanilla, butterscotch, white pepper, faint nutmeg, and lightly toasted oak. Finish is medium, with oak and some bitterness. An off note on the finish.

Some baked agave and vanilla on the nose. Clean and short finish.

Aroma has distant notes of tropical fruit and apricot. Flavor a bit harsh. First 2 seconds you can taste agave. But then, nothing. The finish just doesn't hit the mark. A bit of oak. A mild touch of stale white pepper. It's not a supper for me. The barrel # is 3126 and it was bottle #99. This would be pretty tasty which churros. Or use as an expensive mixer.

Aroma is sweet and slightly medicinal with cedar notes. Surprisingly subdued taste that begins with sweet barrel flavor a (caramel, vanilla) followed by slight spice and mint. Finish is short to medium. You are definitely paying a price for the bottle with this one. And, the bottle really is one of the better presentations out there. The tequila just isn't that great. Milagro Barrel Reserve Reposado $55 USD (Virginia ABC). Overall: Underwhelming. Nose: Sweet butterscotch, vanilla, and cooked agave up front. Some melon fruit, nutmeg, almond, and baking spices. Comes across as having addatives. Taste: Cooked Agave, fake vanilla, cinnamon, and a slight bitterness. Pepper spice. Finish: Medium peppery finish with a bit of an off taste.

As compared to something like Casamigos anejo, this bottle has a lighter feel and is not as sweet. Pairs perfectly with dark chocolate such as Lindt 85%.

This aged tequila is made up of 100% blue Weber agave and aged in french oak for 3 years! Slowly roasted in traditional clay ovens creates delicious caramelised flavours paired with sweet cooked agave. Tasting notes of cooked agave, caramel, oak, butter, vanilla, and banana, with a long and full finish that is smooth and coats the mouth with delicious butterscotch flavours.
