Aromas; spring flower, spearmint, chewing gum, live zest, green mango, nutmeg, smoke, gooseberry, and caraway seeds are present. Palate and finish; papaya, anise, mint, peppercorns, cream soda, vanilla, arugula and coffee beans. Excellent sipper with long legs and lots of pearls. Nice agave after taste with no burn or fade alcohol presence. ...IMHO.. one of the best XA

this reposado is very light, almost clear to the eye Nose- Nice cooked agave upfront that flows into an earthiness like dirt or clay, and a little vegetal Taste- nice cinnamon that flows from beginning to end, minerality, oak bitterness, and some brine Finish- medium to long finish with brine and minerality staying on the tongue

Agave on nose, minimal barrel notes which is expected for Ocho. Palate is pretty quiet but get a slight sweetness on the backend of the palate that lingers with some pepper. The finish tingles the tongue a little bit which is always nice

Tasted blind. Herbaceous and mineral, not my favorite Ocho vintage.

Blind- Light color, long legs. On the nose I get grapefeuit, chamomile, and herbs. On the palate, agave, herbs, and some citrus.

Aroma of straight from the horn cooked agave with trails of cedar, pine, and clean straw. Flavor of nice strong agave with mint, cinnamon, vanilla, and though I've never tasted cedar, cedar. Beautiful expression without coming across overbarreled or tannic. A lighter Anejo for sure but holds it's own.
