what is my first better quality tequila but Still a favorite even though it doesn't meet the extra Anejo qualities

This brand had been around for some years and initially consisted of just an añejo. Some years later and there is a full line of b, r, a. Wood and whiskey notes on the nose along with some alcohol. Well balanced in the mouth with roast agave sweetness, some nice oak and caramel finish. Reminds me of the 2 year Purasangre Añejo from 1146.

Nose: Pear, pepper, herbal. Noticeable alcohol, some greenish agave and a hint of root vegetables. More agave and fruit notes comes through on the palate. Pepper and bitterness on the back end. Finish: Pepper and acrid bitter notes linger.
