Not a terrible cristallino. Definitely can tell they used additives but smell and taste nice. Very light on the pallet over time start to taste more alcohol or ethanol on in the middle. Finishes with a little pepper and starts with a sweet vanilla. But pretty decent for a cristallino.

Very light to drink, super smooth, sweet, some sorr of chocolate notes (chocolate that doesn’t exist in this world), small hint of barrica, frutal, vanella?? Some very interesting unknown flavours. Make sure to rinse/moutwash this tequila long and properly (like good “cata/tasting” and exhale from your gut after sipping for better experience. Not a fan of Dobel, but this one is sublime. Wish it was more affordable but it’s 50 years aged, so makes sense.

Aroma: vanilla, eggnog and caramel Flavor: vanilla and banana Finish: medium finish that is muted Overall, this tequila tastes watered down or like the soul of the agave has been removed

A strong smell of alcohol. Good flavor. Slight burn on the finish.

Expensive for sure but the best offering from Maestro/Cuervo. Nose: refreshing blend of tropical citrus, cooked agave, with some sweet oaky notes. Taste: Cooked agave forward, then cooked vanilla, clove, and like oak flavors. Nice highlighting notes of mango and white pepper emerge as you sip. Finish: fresh fruit (citrus mostly) with a lingering sweetness.

Doesn’t taste bad, flavors are interesting, some smoke, applewood, and very subtle agave. It’s not bad but definitely over priced. I’m not totally against cristalino, I think it’s an interesting augmentation to the spirit, similar to some whiskey filtrations. Being a Casa Cuervo product I suspect this spirit may have some flavors added. I would be interested in trying an additive free cristalino after this, all in all, it’s ok but if you’re a fan of strong agave flavor looks else where. I received this as a gift and will appreciate it.

Lime or maybe immature agave…?! Taste is ok but finish is lacking imo

Waaaaaaaay too sweet. Smells and tastes like bubblegum. Feels more like a novelty tequila than the genuine product.

The aroma was light to non-existent but the taste was interesting. A light note of agave early giving way to a citrus/tropical mid taste before finishing with caramel oak. Very nice overall.
