Produced in 2011 Rested in stainless steel 12 yrs until bottled Nose vegetal, alcohol not a lot of agave Palate alcohol and sweet Finish is fine I revisited this 3 times on 3 separate weeks before rating I'm not loving it. I may recommend it just to try an 12 year rested in stainless steel. it may be ok in cocktails but not a good sipping tequila

Brand new bottle… it was very aggressive and bitter. Autoclave influence was noticeable right away. Will revisit later…

I wouldn't recommend this. Nose is vacant of agave, but has some alcohol and vanillic aromas. Flavor is pleasant and finish is nice.

Muted on the nose, agave is present but not strong. Nice legs and big tears on the glass. Mint on the taste followed by light cooked agave and black pepper on the finish. This is Tequila made well. The taste is the star of the show. At 45% you can't lose. If you are a collector, add this to your library.

I’m the importer so I’m very biased and very proud!

The aroma presents an exceptionally soft ethyl presence, especially notable given the higher proof, alongside distinct notes of raw agave, gentle minerality, and a subtle hint of almond perhaps pistachio or walnut, with just a whisper of brine adding to the aura. Upon tasting, a delightful array of flavors unfolds, offering heightened floral tones, velvety vanilla, zesty lime/orange peel, the richness of salted butter, and a faint sweetness reminiscent of yams. Accompanying these are refreshing notes of grapefruit and light pineapple, while a subtle spiciness adds depth without overwhelming the palate, defying expectations for a higher proof spirit. The finish is captivating, with a lingering hint of spice that continues to add character, intermingled with the essence of raw agave and a pleasant floral tone. A consistent thread of metallic notes weaves through, ultimately concluding with a lasting freshness and the lingering presence of agave on the tongue.

I’ve got a bit of a sniffle so I’ll return for a more thorough review. The aroma doesn’t come off as harsh or strong but I’m missing the subtleties. The flavor is mainly agave with a vanilla background. This finishes with some added pepper and a very light touch of heat. The heat is well balanced for a high proof offering. A worthy selection for a product in this score range.
