This one gets better the more it sits and opens up. Good cooked agave baking spices up front. With loads of citrus(lime), herbal and slightly floral on the pallet. With a citrus orange peal-esk type notes, this one will take you on a different ride but still nice.

It reminds me so much of a Caballito Cerrero, not as complex but for the price the experience is pretty close. I’ll be purchasing more for sure.

Nice pepper and agave on the palate and the finish adds a bit of funk as the ethanol fades

NOM 1522 | Pleasantly surprised. Chewy agave, citrus. herbal, mint, floral, with a slight hint of smoke. Bonus points for being a great budget friendly daily sipper.

NOM 1522 | (Re-evaluated 1 point lower from my video review, due to price). One of the better autoclave tequila'ls. It has a lot of herbal, and earthy notes, along with some sweeter, lighter notes. Overall a tasty tequila.

NOM 1522 | On the nose, cooked agave. Some ethanol, and then a citrus note. A little bit of fruit. On the palate, lots of cooked agave. It gives way to some pepper and cinnamon. It’s earthy, with some fruity notes. Almost a little bit of vanilla. Definitely brine as it opens up Overall, pretty good. It’s not one of my favorites, but this is really quite good, I’d not turn down a pour.

NOM 1522 | Nose: An appealing nose. First aromas are of baked pineapple drizzled with hot butterscotch topping. Cut grass, raw green pepper and mint. Mexican oregano, citrus and white pepper. Flavor: Buttery, deeply caramelized agave opulence. Fruity. Sweet and salty, with pleasantly potent pepper, unwaveringly creeping up the Scoville scale, and then ramping back down . Oily and palate pleasing body. Some almond, vanilla bean, cinnamon and anise nuances as last impressions fade. A tiny bit of sulfur?

NOM 1614 | I bought this tequila because it was being significantly discounted in this particular store. However the merchant did give it a good recommendation. And the ratings on this app were quite good. Aroma: nice aroma, a little sweet but not excessively so. Taste: crisp; very refreshing; a little peppery and somewhat sweet. A nice sipper. Finish: a little peppery on the tongue; sweet and the taste of agave starts to come through. Very pleasant and tempts you to have another glass. I would definitely buy again even at full price. I will recommend this product to friends and I thought the value for dollar paid to be excellent.

If vodka and tequila had a one night stand and vodka decided to keep the bastard child. This would be the baby. Alcohol taste is more rubbing alcohol than anything. Finishes with citrus notes. Avoid until it is the same price as Jose Cuervo or cheaper.

NOM 1614 | Lote: LI22098, bottled on 22-12-2022, tasted on 10-16-23. Aroma: cooked agave, light acidity, light black pepper, herbaceous, a touch of brine after 20 minutes in the glass. Palate: confirms aromas perceived, alcohol sensation is higher on the palate, ends briny. Finish is medium to medium long, slightly salty cooked agave notes persist.

NOM 1614 | Nose. Cooked agave. Black pepper. A bit of citrus and wet grass Tastes. Cooked agave. Pepper spice. Mineral and salt. Finish. Nice long gentle tingle. Good tequila from new to me Nom 1614. Was interested in trying this as they have some up and coming brands there. Picked up in BC so not the deal you all get in the USA but happy to try it.
