At 35%ABV this is watered down and tastes it. 200 ml bottle I bought in PV a year and a half ago. Disappointed. I have had some other Orendain products and liked them but this is poor.

Tasted 2 different bottles, one bottled in 2002 at 38% abv., the other one is from year 2000 at 40% abv., both 1L Mexican version. Color: year 2002 is dark yellow and year 2000 is slightly lighter. Aroma: both cooked agave, light acidity, light sourness, hint of earthiness, light agave fiber and after 30 minutes in the glass a light sweetness like agave honey emerges, the year 2000 in slightly more aromatic & pungent. Toasted caramel. Palate: confirms aromas perceived, good sweet sour and acidic balance, ends dry but satisfying. Finish is medium to medium long, light cooked agave, light agave fibers, hint of toasted caramel with light agave honey aromas persist. Points shown is for the year 2000 bottling. Year 2002 is 80 points.
