In a nosing jarrito - a bit of rubbing alcohol on the nose, mint, and fresh agave. Switch to veladora glass and it opens up, more sweet agave and less booziness. Medium body, round mouthfeel. I get dill, herbal, and pepper notes. There’s heat through a medium finish, not overly complex but hangs on the tongue for a bit.
For the price, this tequila is superb and in my humble opinion excellent bang for your buck.
Super light straw color. Low key creme brûlée on the nose but still green and fresh. Same alcohol as the blanco. Oak and cinnamon, again low key, with touches of agave and spice. Has a moderate complexity, with a brief finish.
